The coffees are amazing and their pear bread is amazing. They do get quite busy, so the wait on coffee can be a bit at times, but worth it.

If you're looking for great coffee and a friendly atmosphere, look no further. The coffee is great, and the line on a Saturday morning is worth the wait. The staff is always friendly even though they're cranking out the orders. If you're staying near by, I highly recommend dropping in. read more

Super nice staff and great coffee, croissants and muffins. Prices are very fair, too. If you are after surf stuff and street wear, you'll get it all in one stop. read more

JR's is really small. I'm talking tiny. You can barely fit more than one person in the store. Okay…read moreso maybe I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea now. For as long as I can remember, the same lady has been working at this particular store. I've never seen any other employees. She must be good at her job. She definitely looks the part as well. She's fit, always in surf clothes and usually looks like she just came back from the beach. She's really nice too and obviously knows her stock well. If you're a fan of JR's then I would suggest going to a different store only because of the size of this one. There's not much stock to choose from, and in my opinion it's overpriced.
