We were in the museum district and were due for lunch. We saw this Italian restaurant and thought we should give it a try. My stepson was craving pasta so he ordered the linguine with tartufo (truffle sauce) and my husband and I shared a margherita di búfala (margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella). My stepson wanted to sit outside so it was the bartender who came out and took our order. Service was a bit on the slow side. We observed though that at this region of the world, servers seem to be trained not to rush customers so you would need to let them know if you are in a hurry. If you didn't, then it would be safe to say you will have to ask for the bill once you're ready to pay otherwise you might wait a while. Anyway, the pasta was delicious per my stepson. My husband and I also enjoyed the pizza that we split. I am also glad that my lemon soda (Italian brand) was the perfect refresher for quite a sunny day. read more

Was craving some Italian style Pizza and stumbled upon this spot. Loved the large sized pizza's, cool vibes, and great service! I ordered the True Romance pizza with arugula, so flavorful. One of my favorite pizza places in Glockenbach. Strongly recommend to try it... I love spice lee but tried others. All good, the service is on the youth cool side, tattooed guys and girls and all very friendly. Music is kinda hip/pop/rock/funk and the service is quick. Interior is a bit industrial and cosy. Pizza was better than in other places in Munich, but it wasn't great. It was good. Not more, not less. The combinations are interesting, though not exactly great. There are too many different strong flavours on the pizzas to let the ingredients and their aromas breathe. So there is certainly room for improvement. It also isn't possible to make alterations to the toppings. e.g. you can't swap gorgonzola for bufala, which would be good though, since the gongonzola doesn't give the chicorée enough room, for instance. For not being that great a price of over 10 euros (11,80 for mine) is quite expensive for a pizza. But the worst thing was the arrogant and obnoxious waitress. When asked whether alterations could be made (mozarella for gorgonzola) she wasn't able to give a polite decent "sorry, this is not possibe" or something, but got all cocky about it. So despite the fact that I might have given the pizza another chance, I certainly will not give a place with a waitress like that another chance. My friend was so upset about the behaviour of the waitress, that she was still angry hours later...and was even afraid of having spit on the pizza. AND: We are usually easily pleased with food and service. You don't even have to be necessarily nice, just don't be obnoxious and cocky to your costumers. All in all: COMPLETLY OVERRATED! read more
