A friend recommended that I see Dr. Allen Goode at East Memphis Chiropractic. What a difference! I hadn't been to a chiropractor in years so I was a little apprehensive, but Dr. Goode put me right at ease. He is very personable and competent. They were able to give me a same day appointment, bill my insurance and see me with a minimal wait once I arrived. He said to come back if I felt I needed to, rather than insisting on scheduling repeat visits just to generate business. My neck was a little (but nowhere near as badly) stiff the following week and again, they were happy to fit me in for a same day adjustment. From the sign in the lobby, I saw that without insurance, adjustments are only 45.00, which I imagine could be a real lifesaver for some people. I really am pleased with my two visits so far and would whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Goode to any one experiencing back or neck pain! This is insurance fraud and l've reported this to the appropriate authorities. In addition, the care lacked clinical follow-through. There were no meaningful reassessments, and x-rays were only taken at the very beginning and end of care -- not during treatment - making it difficult to track progress or adjust the plan. The digital check-in form asked about progress each visit, but it clearly wasn't used to make any treatment adjustments. I was initially told that if I discontinued care, refunds wouldn't be provided for prepaid visits-only the option to "save unused visits for later". That discouraged me from stopping sooner, even when I wasn't seeing results. I eventually chose to discontinue treatment and requested a refund for my unused visits, reassessments, & the post treatment X-ray that I didn't receive, which I did receive after following up with corporate. I recommend that others proceed with caution: verify how billing is handled, make sure progress is being regularly assessed, & that the care plan is being adjusted accordingly and don't delay discontinuing care if your needs aren't being met. Additionally, the provider - Dr.Stormy Green, and a front desk associate often appeared irritated, when I asked billing & treatment questions or raised concerns. This created an uncomfortable environment at times, but I encourage others to ask questions anyways and advocate for themselves. I wouldn't recommend anyone patronize this provider / location considering this terrible experience.

I…read morecouldn't really bend over, I couldn't sleep comfortably, and anywhere I drove was excruciating because it hurt to sit and then stand. After telling Dr. Morris what was going on, he uttered three words, "I got you" and he went to work. Whenever Dr. Morris starts humming, he's in the zone! Needless to say, after a few snaps, crackles, and pops, Doc stood me up and asked me how I felt. My response to him was that I felt better, but my true response was "emotional". There I was, for weeks, just dealing with nonstop pain and limiting activities, and Dr. Morris alleviated all of that in less than 20 minutes and I was able bend! To me, that's attention to detail and dedication to his craft! And let's not forget the receptionist. She checked on me from the beginning of the visit to the end making sure I was comfortable as I transitioned through each treatment phase. I've been to some places where the initial check-in is the only time I was checked on or acknowledged, especially if there were multiple patients. I don't recall the receptionist's name, but I can tell she genuinely cares about patients just as much because she has been consistent through multiple visits. She schedules me based on my body and how I'm holding the adjustments, so it's not an every-week thing right now. My insurance doesn't work for her office, but the cash price is pretty much the same as a copay. I highly recommend.
