My experience there was... ok. They got me in as a first time client which I appreciated but the adjustment was... so so. It didn't really fix the issue. My regular chiropractor (a small independent office) was on vacation so I thought I'd give them a try. I think they were just being conservative in the adjustment / treatment. I've tried them in a couple of locations for the same reasons when traveling and had a similar experience. Then, their business model is getting you to sign up for plans, etc but my clinical experience with them just didn't get results. Once I got back to my usual guy he was able to fix it immediately. I am not a review person and have loved every experience at previous joint chiropractics. I am not considered an active patient anymore so they made me go through the entire new patient process yet charged me as if I wasn't a new patient. They stated you will go behind all walk in's. I was told the visit would take a total of an hour. The issue is after an hour of waiting and the office clearing out- 7 more people walked in and I got pushed back to the back of the line. I asked at what point do we get put in the line and couldn't get an answer. I have not experienced this at other locations even not holding a current active membership and ended up leaving this location after waiting an hour and a half and still no time estimate when I would be seen. I can't speak to the quality of care and am sure they do a great job adjusting patients- this is just my experience with the individual at the front desk. read more

For a place that's supposed to be a great on the go option it was a big let down. I came in and was told there was one person ahead of me... I sat there while 5 people went in front of me. After the 4th person came and went I asked if I was sitting in the wrong area and was told "No our priority is patients on the wellness plan, if you had that we would have seen you before them but they get seen first." If that's the case say that up front, don't let a customer sit there with people going infront of them without them knowing. I've gone to other joints where they didn't follow that rule and if it's policy that's fine but just say so up front and at least apologize and say sorry about the confusion it's just policy not that I'm not a priority because I'm not on a wellness plan. read more

I like this place for the following reasons: 1) With a 2 month membership, I get a lot of appointments for a really great price, 2) you get a variety of chiropractors which is kind of cool, 3) I can use my membership at various "The Joint" locations, 3) the staff is friendly, 4)the office is clean and modern, and 5) it really helped my back. read more

I went in with little expectations as I had never been to a chiropractor before. Went in and the front desk lady was nice, but when I came back to pay she kept telling me about the deals and the costs and everything to the point that when I signed/payed for my session I didn't even realize I set up a membership and paid extra. I felt like I was swindled by a used car salesperson when I left. I had to call a different location to cancel everything because she kept repeating the same thing and wouldn't answer my questions that well for me to understand (the lady at the other location I called was super sweet and helpful) And the guy who did the actual chiropractic part, kept going on and on about the history of this stuff and about how he's got years and years of experience - mind you he did like three pops on my back and that was it? I kind of expected more then just my neck and shoulders considering I went in for lower back problems. Also he didn't answer any of my questions about doing this while pregnant and continuing after the birth of my child and just kept going on about how everyone man in his family is a chiropractor and his daughters might become one some day. I felt so weirded out by the location I went to that I'm not looking forward to trying them again. I'll be asking my spine doctor and vandy for other recommendations. read more

My friend told me about this place and it's amazing! For the price and the deals they have its so affordable. I paid $29 plus the $59 on my first visit to be on the monthly plan. The first month is unlimited adjustments and then after that you get 4/mo. You get right in and they have different locations so its very convenient. read more

I have never been to a chiropractor in my 35 years, but in the last few I have felt that I probably need to make an attendance. I have been having increasing lower and middle back issues and finally made the choice to go. Well luckily I came across The Joint on Old Hickory. I was so impressed with my experience in this establishment. I could not believe how easy and painless it was to get assessed, get an adjustment, get diagnosed, and then get out of there! I was literally in and out in 20 minutes the first visit and then my second visit duration was like 5-10 minutes. Top that off with the price and we got a winner folks! Excellent experience today on my first visit at The Joint, the Chiropractic practice in Brentwood. From the warm greeting when I first walked in, to the consultive approach Dr. Walters took time to go over my neck issue and listen to me, before the adjustment, it was a great experience. The adjustment Dr. Walters did was pain free and very relieving. I'm quite sure I'll be a return patient especially since it's easy to get in and out of and located in Brentwood (same plaza as Target and Panera Bread). Love coming here! Both Dr.'s are very clear in the fact that their goal is for a routine and maintenance approach. If you haven't been to a chiropractor in months/years don't think you can come once every other week and expect miracles - you just don't have realistic expectations and that isn't the Dr.'s fault. I committed to coming twice a week for the first month after not seeing a chiropractor regularly in years and I feel amazing now. I had been limping over the past year from a hip injury and have finally quit favoring that leg - a year of physical therapy hasn't even fully accomplished that! It's now been two months of regular visits and The Joint - Brentwood is one of my favorite places to stop in during the week. 15 minutes - in & out. Highly, highly recommend. read more

I am not a serial complainer. In fact, I am a huge advocate for chiropractic medicine. I am walking proof that when properly treated, we can all live healthier lives without surgery. However, I must warn people about this company. They will admit if questioned, that they are not set up to treat people who have anything requiring proper chiropractic treatment, however, they will not volunteer this information. A traditional doctor of chiropractic uses x-rays to see what is going on in the spine before treating anything that requires manipulation of the spine. The Joint has no x-ray equipment. It was only after I paid for 2 months for my wife and I that I found out by their doctor on duty that they were best suited as a maintenance plan for people who were already on the path to wellness. I don't think these are bad people, they are just not set up to diagnose and treat anything related to the spine. You are in and out fast and if this is your benchmark for great healthcare, then this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for healing from an injury, headaches, numbness or anything else that is more serious than that, please go to a traditional chiropractor or osteopath who will insist on taking a few x-rays before agreeing to twist your spinal column. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised at what a great job Dr. Walters did on my recent visit.. He has a very effective and skilled touch. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I had neck pain that was really bad. I went to The Joint on a recommendation from a friend and coworker, just hoping that they could keep the pain from getting worse. My neck pain has consistently gotten better over the few months that I have been going, to the point that is it barely noticeable now! Amazing! I am in and out in a few minutes and it costs only a fraction of what a usual chiropractic visit (with all the extra treatments) costs.
