I was adjusted by Dr. Ashley Beyer. I've been miserable all week with a pain in my back and rib and this is my first night without pain this week. I was eased through the intake forms and seen in a timely manner. Dr. Beyer asked a few questions of her own and the adjustment was incredible. It was fast but I didn't feel rushed, she just knew what she was doing. My neck, shoulders and back popped in ways I didn't know they could. I've had many adjustments that took 3x as long and not even remotely as effective. Customer service wise, everyone was bubbly, smiling, and couldn't have been kinder. I have been to many of the joint chiropractic locations, it's an absolute pleasure when I come to the Corpus Christi location! Dr. MIKE is just amazing he not only makes me feel better he also makes my day better! The joint really has found a jewel in this fellow! I have been a regular client here for the past few years. It seems to me the company is failing us patients by not retaining a sufficient staff of Chiropractors. The first Doctor I had disappeared after maybe half a year. The second one proceeded to do the same. I've seen several others in the past year disappear too. For some reason the company seems to be unable to hang on to their Chiropractors. So, I currently have Dr Mike. He has been absolutely fantastic. He not only does great adjustments but he also is just a very nice man. Unfortunately, I am concerned that he also might bail........because he seems very stressed the last 3-4 visits because he has been THE ONLY Chiropractor there. Usually there are a couple Doctors working at the same time......but not lately. ONLY Dr Mike. It seems something is going on there and Chiropractors are not staying too long! So because of this there always seems to be a long wait.......and it is very frustrating for us patients. But.....I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for poor Dr Mike. I can tell he's trying like crazy to still be pleasant with us patients.......but ANYBODY being that overworked would be losing patience. He must be working every day......all day......WITHOUT a break. I feel awful for the guy. If I were management, the first thing I would do is take care of Dr. Mike.......as he seems to be the ONLY Chiropractor who has kept the doors open. Second thing I would do is hire at least THREE solid professional Chiropractors to all share the patient load.......so us patients don't have to wait soooooooo long to be seen. And finally, I would also take care of the lady working up front named Natalie. She has been great about handling all of us impatient patients who have had to wait forever to be seen.......although I can see frustration on her face as well. Natalie has gone out of her way to be very patient and kind with us. So......whomever runs the show at this office as far as hiring and retaining Doctors.......PLEASE get your act together........and hire a few solid professionals. If this isn't done soon I worry there may not be any staff left there. And to be honest.......if this doesn't change soon, I, and I am guessing many or most of your patients, will be gone as well. I've been hanging in there because I really really like the professional, fantastic care I receive from Dr Mike and the kindness and professionalism from Natalie, but I am losing my patience as well. read more

I'm new to the area so I wanted something simple until I can find all the doctors I need. I happened to stumble across these guys and I'm impressed. Went in on a Saturday which is unheard of and they are open 7 days a week. If I need some adjustments I can get them and not have to miss work and that's a bonus for me. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and they listen to your needs. I would hands down recommend anyone to go here. read more

Only worth going if Dr. Moreno is working. Moreno is very caring, easy going and helpful. I really liked my session with him and I would go back if my normal chiro wasn't available. Dr. Bachler spent a total of 3-4 minutes on my sciatica issue each visit-it was never cured. One session with another chiropractor my issue was 90% better and I was walking normally until recently. But let's take a minute to talk about Dr. Reynaldo. I had seen how caring he was with another (thin) client, so after I felt no relief from Bachler, I asked if Reynaldo would give a second opinion. Reynaldo didn't even examine me, just asked a couple of questions, then proceeded to tell me that there were stretches that can be done, but that it wasn't safe because I'm a person of size. The weird thing is, I do those piriformis stretches in my regular Chiropractors office WEEKLY, and I actually do slightly modified version at home by myself regularly. I could certainly respect if he felt like HE didn't have the strength to lift up a foot (uh, ok), but that's not how it was phrased. If you are a fat person, don't even bother with him. read more

This clinic is an absolute joke. They literally spend 4 or 5 minutes just cracking a few places and send you out. One of the girls over extended my neck and I've had pain in my neck, back and shoulders everyday since then. I was a new patient in need of an emergency adjustment on a Sunday. 29$ was such a fair price to pay in my time of need. I didn't have to wait long. Most of the time was me doing my paperwork. The Doctor was awesome, and got me adjusted so well. The Doctor took the time to really inform and educate me of my issue. I will definitely use this place again for emergency weekend adjustment. If I did not live 40 minutes away from the office I would take advantage of the wellness plans they offered. read more

I have received adjustment here for years. Great service for the value. 1/4 of the price of all the other chiropractors in town. They are even open on weekends. The receptionists Tiffany and Stacy are always so sweet. Dr. Rey and Moreno are amazing at what the do. I have been to The Joint several times and always had more than satisfactory results. Unfortunately, today wasn't at all satisfactory, I feel I was straight up robbed of $39. First off I don't believe the chiropractor even introduced himself, I've personally never met him before! The whole adjustment took all of 3 minutes and my issue wasn't addressed at all, in fact my back pain is even worse as I am typing. After reading someone else's review, I have to agree, its all about qauntie not qaulity. It wasn't at all busy when I visited, the only other patient was in and out just as quick. I would not recommend this place at all. I went in on a bit of an impulse and regretted it. The chiropractor physically pushed me into a very uncomfortable position without asking me for any feedback and then manipulated me roughly and forcefully. I walked out in far greater pain than when I went in. From the time I went in, I felt like the sales pitch was in full swing, pressuring me for a return visit. Everything is a really low-key and comfortable here. Everybody is always smiling and happy. They only have two chiropractors so it's easy to get that comfortable feeling like you belong there because they recognize you every time you come in. I just stopped in from out of town. I see a Joint chiropractor in SA and he knows what I need. After reviewing my notes and me telling this guy what needs to be done, he arrogantly said, "that's them. I'll do it my way." When he was done, I told him that everything, except the ONLY spot I have a problem with, was adjusted. He told me that that was my opinion and I was adjusted. He wouldn't listen to his patient. I have never been to a doctor, of any discipline, that wouldn't listen to his patient. Waste of my time. In fact, I left with more issues than I came with. read more

I went in 6 weeks ago and have regretted it since. I needed my neck adjusted which he did okay with. Then he wanted to do my back and I should have said no since I rolled off my bed and I hadn't had it x-rayed. My back made the ugliest popping noises when he adjusted me and now I have a problem in the middle of my spine. Tomorrow I go to a doctor because the constant dull pain I've had since the visit to The Joint is getting worse and I have tingling in my lower back. read more

It's pretty sad that even if the DR says you need to be seen for 2 months, they still charge you for a 3rd month because you didn't cancel your "membership". The Drs are ok but all have different ways of adjustments. Some ways are good and some are way off. But the main reason for the sorry rating is the extra charge. The receptionist knew I had said ok it was good coming to you guys but didn't bother telling me oh you might want to cancel your membership to our awesome club!!! Never again. read more

Went for the first time today. I had a great experience! Everything was explained in detail, I was adjusted, did some neck stretches and was on my way. I like the plans that are offered for return visits. In my line of work, this is a necessity. I highly recommend this facility. They are also open 7 days a week, no appointment needed! read more

Chiropractors are individuals that practice holistic approach, which involves a variety of hands on treatments. For a chiropractor to imply that he knows more than an MD spinal specialist is beyond absurd. The experience there became quite unpleasant when the chiropractor opened his mouth to reveal such arrogance. To those unaware or naive of proper procedures can be deceived and unfortunately cause more harm then good. I will never step foot in that joke of a practice again. read more
