I urge you to not go here unless you are OK with leaving with more issues than you attempted to treat. I visited Saturday, May 4th after having a crick in my neck all day. I filled out every document indicating my left neck region was the only issue and area I had a concern with. I was adjusted all over and when the gal tending to me (no idea of her name, not the main Doctor) got to my lower back it didn't pop and I felt an odd feeling immediately. I got up, my neck did feel better, and I left. This was around 4:30 pm. The very next morning, at approximately 6 am I was awoken with a sharp pain in my lower back. I got up and stretched, bending at my waist to touch my toes. I went back to bed. At approximately 7:30 I woke and went to tend to laundry. I reached into the dryer and fell over in excruciating pain. I fell to the floor, balled up. My husband aided me back to the bed after hearing me crying and moaning. I laid on the bed with a heat pad under my back for about another hour. It was worsening as the time passed. I then asked my husband to take me to the ER. I had reached a point where the pain was so bad and failed to cease at all, only worsen. I felt sick to my stomach, it was honestly worse than the two natural child births I had l, not kidding at all. I got to the ER and it was determined that my muscles had been seriously strained. I received a steroid shot in my back and was provided two prescriptions to fill; a high amount of pain relief and a muscle relaxer. The 4 days that followed were awful. I was under Dr's orders to not drive or even leave the house if at all possible. I had a note to not go to work, for me this isn't an option so I worked from home. The pain in my lower back was excruciating for 2 solid days after the ER, and late only today, almost 1 week of sleepless nights, do I feel better enough to right this review and warn others of my experience. I contacted the location and corporate office to share my story and neither even responded at all. Done forever!!! Please accept this as a stark warning, it's been a VERY long and painful week. read more

I just don't understand. The receptionist here ruins my experience over and over to the point I'm cancelling my membership here. The 2 main chiropractors are actually great but my experience with the receptionist is so painful I am done. I sit here and watch her treat people over and over as if we are bothering her and interrupting her phone scrolling. Never looks up, never welcomes you, in never addresses you. It's "what's up?" And when you mention your name she never reply's. Just sits there until you ask, am I good? She huffs and puffs with every interaction. TERRIBLE. It can't be that hard to find a decent receptionist. My husband hurt his back and we were 5 minuets away from The Joint in Southlake. I called the office to make sure we could be seen and the lady on the phone was more concerned about when she gets to go home. I heard 5 times how "we close at 4:00 o'clock so yeah I don't think we can help him." WHAT?!?!? It's 2:54 pm and I could have been at the office by 3:00 pm but the front desk lady REFUSED to reserve an appointment because "we close at 4:00 o'clock". I like coming here. I had never seen a chiropractor prior to coming here a month ago. I think the adjustments help, however, I may be canceling soon because I hate the process. You cannot make an appointment and that means you go early to not have to wait a long time. The trouble with that is the doctor is never here when it opens. Out of the 3 times, I've come at 10:05am the doctor is not there until 10:15 or so. By then there is a line of a few people. I just don't have the time to wait around each week. I tried one afternoon once and I waited an hour. I was still 3rd in line. People kept leaving once learning how many people were already waiting. I accompanied my boyfriend to his appointment and while I can't say anything about the doctors here, the front desk girl immediately put me off. She was not welcoming or friendly and from reading a couple reviews it sounds like I'm not the only one who felt this way. I was curious about services here but now I'm definitely not interested in coming back. Even my boyfriend mentioned that she was being rude and acted like he was bothering her as he signed up for the monthly membership. A receptionist's job is to welcome customers and make sure they get what they need scheduled or taken care of. Terrible service. read more

Nice guy and professional, but the service he provided my wife and I shouldn't qualify as an "adjustment." I've been getting adjustments for years from various doctors before moving to Dallas. My wife is a massage therapist who worked for a chiropractor whom I also saw. This was the weakest adjustment either of us had ever received. The amount of pressure used didn't allow either of us to adjust, just more like light stretching. I even called out first that I was having trouble with my low back, which was just breezed over and barely addressed in the "adjustment." Interesting too: Without even telling the receptionist that we were displeased, she offered up: "Dr. Hanh is just filling in. If you come back you should ask for (other doctor). HE'S great." I am VERY difficult to adjust, and take a lot of force to do so - most chiro's won't take that challenge on with me because of my small frame size, so I never end up getting a good adjustment. Enter Dr. Bryan - an absolute gem in this space, throw in the pricing structure, and I am a client for life - as long as he stays there, because I will follow him wherever he should go. I went to this location on April 26th for back pain. I saw Dr Garlington. She was great until she adjusted my upper back by my shoulder blade and I had an immediate horrible pain as she adjusted me. I actually yelped. She said "oh next time we need to use cushion because of your breasts". Now, I've had a double mastectomy in 2011 and I have zero feeling or sensation in my chest, so this was the first time I've felt anything. (Reconstruction was done using all of my own fat, muscle and tissues) I was sore but she said that was normal. She wanted me back twice a week for a month, so I signed up for a monthly plan. I went back 3 days later and had another dr adjust me again Nd told him not to do my upper back because it was still painful. He worked on the lower back with no issues. Over the next few days the pain became unbearable so I went to the doctor and found out I had Costochondritis caused from the adjustment. On 5/22 I went into the joint and asked to cancel my monthly plan and explained why. The front desk staff told me specifically "oh she's a horrible dr, she's not usually at our location and I don't understand why they still use her as a back up dr here, you're not the first one to complain about her." She gave me the email to the general manager to request a refund if my monthly membership. I was careful not to make a scene or cause attention as to not worry the other customers in the office. Well, the response back from the manager was that he sees no record of me having an issue and since I went back 3 days later, there's no reason for a refund. Obviously I'm unhappy about this response, so I thought I'd share my story to hopefully help someone else from having this issue. Yes, I'm still in pain as I type this and have been told it may take 4-6 months to recover. I feel I'm being nice by not asking to be compensated for the almost $700 I've paid to dr office, X-ray place and medications. I simply want the $98 I paid to your office back. read more

We had a horrible experience with the receptionist. She was rude and refused service to my daughter. She justified her refusal of service by stating a company policy, that according to other locations, does not exist. Me and my husband have frequented this location but we will NEVER be back. When I told her that I would be giving her a bad review her response was, "go ahead." I have seen multiple bad reviews regarding this receptionist. Go here! Dr. Bryan is a bone-cracking artist. I've been to many chiropractors throughout my life. None of them know how to do an upper back combo adjustment like this man. He is thorough; I consistently walk out of here completely in alignment. Contrast this to other chiropractors who will adjust a few things and send you on your way. I've been treated consistently since February from this location, and I can tell you that my back pain is well under control. I've also corrected my posture and learned new ergonomic habits from this place. I think the best part about this is that I've only paid $59 or $69 per month (I can't remember) for 4 adjustments each month. Dr. Bryan is the third chiropractor I've seen and he is just wonderful. He sees so many patients a day yet he has a way of making each patient feel like they are important and unique, and makes sure each adjustment is specific for everyone's unique body. I have had scoliosis since I was a child and also have pain in the neck along with headaches. Since I started seeing Dr. Bryan, the headaches have pretty much diminished with the exception of about 2 a month. Going from daily headaches to two a month, I would definitely pay money for that. I always left the chiropractor's feeling better than I did before I got the adjustment. Dr. Bryan is knowledgeable and really cares about his patients. He listens and gives his professional advice and you can tell he is genuine. Dr. Bryan is the best in the area and he truly wants to help. The prices are even better. I was always hesitant to go to the Chiropractor but I was referred by a friend and felt like I should give it a try. I suffer from a multitude of issues and I am always taking it easy so I don't hurt my back and put myself out of commission. Originally when I went to this location I went it because it is close to my work and they offered a pretty good deal for your first visit. I want to say it was around $19.00 for an adjustment which I was certainly willing to pay to see if I could get some relief. When I went in the location was nice, the front desk staff was courteous and helpful, and the waiting area was clean and inviting. I filled out my paperwork and waited to see the Dr. I was called in to the treatment area and Dr. Bryan was thorough in going through the preliminary questions and information before we got started. Even though I was nervous and it was my first time he was very easy to talk to and walked me through what he was doing as he was doing it. After my adjustment I was really surprised at how I felt. It was like I was kind of floating and I had some extra energy.. Very unique and overall a very good experience. I decided to start going once a week to keep things balanced and it has been awesome. The plan they have is affordable and each time I go there is little to no wait and the Doctors spend adequate time with me to make sure that all of my issues have been addressed. I have been in need of a cancellation, which they do not allow online or via fax. I had been traveling for work and was unable to cancel in person. I have never experienced and nerve damage until I got adjustments done. Nerves were pinched in my thoracic outlet after the second visit, causing loss of feeling in three of my fingers on my dominant hand. In addition, the $69 I was charged that I was told could be reversed is not being refunded. The 4 adjustments to use for that $69 expired yesterday, the day before I came in when I was able to cancel. I had been in contact with someone over the phone that had said I could have the $69 fee reversed, only to find out this is not the case. Highly unsatisfied and this experience (inconvenience) is a big factor of my cancellation. I understand I was in a contract, but had special circumstances that were not offered any real solutions.
