I had a car accident about 6 months ago and came to Mark to see if he could help my back pain…read more Since I had been in an accident, he wanted to x-ray me and see what he was working with before for doing any adjustments. After having him review the x-ray, he showed me different areas where my spine wasn't shaped the way it was supposed to be. As well, my rib cage on my left side was pushed a bit back. He adjusted my rib cage a bit forward, and hammered a bit at my neck which opened up my throat a bit. By pushing my rib cage on my left side more forward and opening my airway a bit by knocking on it with his power hammer, it now feels like I am getting way more air in with each breath. I used to get winded pretty easily if I tried jogging a few weeks ago, which wasn't supposed to be the case. One of the first things I did after he adjusted me was to jog to see how it felt, and I had way more energy and wasn't getting winded like I did last week. He also adjusted my lower back. My spine at my lower back was a bit crooked and my back was all tight and hurting. I couldn't really tell but I had a small muscle in my lower back that was spasming. He pushed on it and made it stop spamming by poking my stomach. It hurt when he poked me (he warned me that it would!!) but he pinched the muscle that was spasming until it stopped. Later that whole day, my back felt way better than it had in months. So yes, getting poked in the stomach for a few minutes did the trick. I'm looking forward to going back. Every adjustment he has given me has made me feel dramatically better. After a week at it I feel way more my age. I was getting tired of hobbling around like an old man feeling like I was twice my age, getting winded at nothing. Thankfully that's not the case anymore.
