I've had a spinal problem for about 15 years. Every once in a while, I really need to see a chiropractor for my scoliosis. Now that I live in a new city, I needed to hunt for the right one. Being honest, this one had a $29 first visit promo, so I went for it. I was expecting to start out with X-rays so that he could see what he was dealing with and I'd get established with him. They don't have X-ray machines, so that's not a thing. They just kind of... wing it. The chiropractor did a manual adjustment (not the type that uses an activator tool), which I prefer, because it gets fast results, then used a vibration machine, and sent me on my way. My neck was sore afterwards (it wasn't when I entered) because of the harsh tug on it. I'm not sure that it was done perfectly, but I recovered after 4 hours or so and my back pain was relieved. This just kind of felt like the Walmart of chiropractors. They'll hurry you in, not care too much, get it over with, and hurry you out. There are times when you might want that, I guess, but I felt like the experience was pretty lacking for a medical procedure. Next time, I'll go chiropractor hunting again. read more

She was wonderful, highly competent, and caring during my adjustment and recommend follow-up home remedies to further alleviate residual pain. Been to Chiropractor for years in Charlotte. They had X-rays etc. Moved here and found this place. Doctor Freeman and Doctor Tracy are awesome! Seriously know their stuff. And if X-ray is needed they can refer you for super cheap price. I'm so so so happy I came here. Working on a shoulder injury I was told needed operation. Had MRI etc. But I knew something was wrong with the allopathic Doctors diagnosis. Doctor Tracy was the first Doctor that actually made sense and worked on me today and for the first time in 2 years I had an amazing difference. And we will continue to work on it until resolved. My coworker told me about The Joint because I was complaining of neck pain at work. I'm a dental hygienist and have been wanting to go to a chiropractor for years and just have never done it. I have had 3 visits at The Joint so far and It has been AMAZING! I have decided to sign up for their monthly wellness plan where you get 4 visits per month for $59. They do not accept insurance but their fee is minimal compared to what we'd have to pay with copays. Any additional visits (over 4) are $10 each. This is such a great business concept...a monthly membership plan versus pay-as-you-go makes it a much more affordable option for chiropractic care. My only complaint is that the actual time spent with the doctor is shorter than other chiropractors I've visit. That being said, I also paid much more per visit than I do at The Joint. Great service, great price, no appointment necessary, no waiting! I've been seeing chiropractors for 40 years. Thirty years ago, I was paying $80/visit in NYC. Ten years ago in Greensboro I paid $60/visit. At The Joint I pay $10-$15/visit and have better results and service. (One NYC chiropractor that I had paid thousands of dollars to let me wait 2 hours while he took a new patient who came in 1 hour after me. This started out well. The first visit was thorough and impressive. As my contract time progressed, the treatments got much shorter. I have attempted to receive a treatment three times this week and have been presented with at least a 25 minute wait time. I think they may be understaffed. I don't plan to renew my contract.
