Came into this place with server neck and shoulder stiffness with also back pain. The front desk receptionist Yvonne recommended me Dr.Smith because he is very detailed with his exam/adjustment. So I gave it a chance and she was completely right! He went through everything and also kept in mind my health condition through the whole visit. I never knew my balance was uneven and he adjusted that first and then went up to my neck and cracked it that I immediately started feeling relief. I can't thank him enough because I didn't sleep 2 night prior to this visit. I am still coming to my visit as he recommended me and each time I am noticing the change in my neck movement. First time visit today and could not be happier. I fully expected because of the first time visit deal that they wouldn't fully address my needs and that I would get a high pressured sales pitch for the membership and none of that happened. They got me in really fast and the chiropractor went above and beyond to address my pregnancy pain. The sales pitch wasn't high pressure she mentioned the deals and it happened to be a pretty good deal for me so I took the $19 a month membership and am pretty pleased with that decision. OMG! I should have thought about coming here long time ago. I have been going to my doctor for some muscle problems that i thought i have in my back neck and shoulder for over years and have been taking muscle relaxant to help me. But there is only a bit of result, i have even put myself to dry needling and get a temporary relief. So i went here, just to check it out ( yes its right next to a Chipotle, heheheeh yes i was there grubbing ) so stop by and decided to get an adjustment, he talked to me and told me how rigid my neck was so we need to work on it, mannnnnn when he adjusted my back i thought i had a dinosaur living in my back and heard it CRACKERRRRRARRRHH so loud. When I try to go inside the door was locked. I looked at the hours and they should be open. a lady showed up to the door and said there was no doctor there. I was later contacted by this location and offered 2 free adjustments due to my inconvenience. They also processed reimbursement for the 2 months that I was overcharged after I cancelled at the other location. I appreciate them helping me resolve this. Hopefully now I won't continue to be charged. I wish the market place location would have done this for me in the multiple calls I had with them. read more

So i almost never write reviews but my experience the other day was so disappointing that i felt like i had to. I hadn't received care from this company in 2+ years so i signed up for the discounted adjustment for new costumers. Once i told the receptionist that i had been 2+ years ago she said they would still honor the discounted price of $29, cool, i was gonna save a few bucks. I had to fill out a sheet for what was in pain, etc. As a performer, my back, neck, hip/knee are constantly hurting so i was hoping adjustments might help. After a short wait i go back and once the doctor gets started on me they only goes and touches two parts of my back, and my neck. What was the point of me filling out a long paperwork of pain if i only get my upper back/neck when my "consultation" was for lower and hip pain? I was shocked because the 'members' before me got so much more care. I know it wouldn't have just fixed the issue right away, but i came in to see if maybe it would help with some pain. Immediately after the adjustments they go right into plans for their membership program and telling me how i need to be back in for optimal care, and after i go back to the receptionist desk she said they couldn't honor the discount anymore since i had been before 2+ years prior even though they made a point to note they would, but, whatever the payment wasn't that big of an issue. Sadly, I'll have to find another place, where they at least try to make me feel like a patient and not just a customer. read more

I went to the Joint today to get adjusted to deal with severe neck and back pain, I was quickly registered into their system and Dr. Owens saw me within minutes. The adjustment that he was able to perform was nothing short of miraculous, I went in without being able to move my neck more then a few inches and now I have nearly full mobility after only one visit and the pain has gone from about a 7 to a 2. I went the The Joint a few months ago to fix a tweaked back as I saw an introductory offer. I decided to give their monthly plan a try instead just to see how it worked. Since then, my chronic back/neck discomfort (aches and tightness) have become a rarity. I even went in just before a 22h road trip, and was fine after I finished it. I've been coming here since January and have had nothing but excellent service and adjustments especially from Dr. Grove and Dr Keyser. All other drs are great as well. They're very thorough every single visit and always follow up from my last complaints. I never feel rushed or dismissed. I have a slipped Vertebrae and I was in constant 8/10 pain when I first started coming. After my weekly adjustments and home stretches I've been given my pain is never more than a 3. I was very surprise because she's a very young woman, but knows her stuff, and has a very calm demeanor. Before Dr. Noggle adjust you into another movement, she will tell you what going to happen before hand. I have to admit, I felt a heck of a lot better the next day! Again, what makes The Joint different from the other places....it was made for the anyone who hates making appointments and just need an adjustment. Yeah, you don't need to make any appointments, and you even get a better deal if you get a month to month deal. After the adjustment, I decided to sign up for month to month deal for 49.99, and I can walk into to see Dr. Noggle once a week. At 12.50 a week, why not feel better! This location deserves ZERO stars because they terminated THE BEST chiropractor that ever touched my body! For 2 months, my general practitioner had tested me, tried multiple meds, pain meds and referred me to a neurologist, all to relieve severe pain in my big toe. My first visit to The Joint was 4/12/2016. Dr. Andrea Watson relieved me of my severe pain IN ONE SESSION ! Dr. Watson is so good, she figured out that the pain was stemming from hips out of alignment. I went home that day with ZERO pain! Fortunately for me and any of Dr. Watson's other loyal patients, you can now find her at 10420 South Decatur Bl. On 4/21/2016 I got an adjustment by the "supposedly better" doc who replaced Dr. Watson. WORST EVER! Lasted less than 2 minutes, he failed to even touch my hips, lectured me on getting an MRI, didn't clean the table before directing next patient (victim) to lie down on it. By time I got home, I had pain where I didn't have it before. I will NEVER let that person touch me again. READ the other positive reviews about this location and you'll see that most (if not ALL) mention Dr. Andrea Watson. This location may now be like a plane with no pilot. read more

Updated review 11/04* I am revising my previous 3 star rating to a 5 due to the friendliness of the front desk staff and Dr.Mcintosh. I have not been to this location in two or three months due to the fact that I moved across town and I didn't have a good experience with the new doctor. However today I went in and saw Dr. McIntosh. HE IS GREAT!! I've been to 6 different locations and have probably seen 9 different The Joint chiropractors and he's honestly as good as Dr. Watson (who used to work at this location). I jump around from doctor to doctor a lot because I haven't been satisfied with my adjustments. He asked me why I came in. Sometimes doctors will ask me but then not really address my problem. He also reviewed my chart, pretty thoroughly. He's the only doctor that ever asked me about my kidney issue in the past 4-5 months. He checked my hips, my legs... everything. He wasn't rough, he explained things pretty well and was friendly. I felt SO much better afterwards. Dr. McIntosh is only there Wednesday through Saturday so make sure you come during those days. For people who have never been to the chiropractor before, give him a try. It's only $29 and who knows? He may provide you with relief from back/neck/hip pain!! read more

This is my very first ever Yelp review, and it won't even be biased. Well maybe a little, but only because I highly recommend them. So yeah, I'm biased now, but honestly biased. In fact, I'm a little hesitant to give them 5 stars because I don't want them to be a line next time I pop in. Sitting between Pei Wei and Chipotle, it's foot traffic paradise. Nevermind that though, if I make this a regular routine, you better believe I'll be eating with flavor right after. So yeah, can you say win-win? I've always been pretty weirded out by crackling bones. This was my first ever experience after having severe lower back pain (chronic web-site geek) the last couple days. So right away, you shouldn't give this review too many s-h-i-t's. So the friendly female chiropractor (sorry forgot her name) seemed knowledgeable. She analyzed my posture and problem areas with pretty good precision. Soon after she did her thing twisting and cracking. I expected more of a huge relief of pressure everyone brags about, but that wasn't my experience. Either way, I did slightly better afterwards and the video they make you watch prior gives you the perception that you'll be in a wheelchair by 50 without some chiro in your life. I can't say I'm a true believer yet in the practice, for me at least. I'd compare it to stretching your muscles on a regular basis. Seems like it's a good idea to do it once in a while! So yeah... if I'm going anywhere to get my spine unraveled, this is the place! I didn't opt for the monthly membership, but I did pre-pay for 5 sessions which resulted in like $110 (don't quote me on that). I'll be going back for a follow-up next week! First visit was yesterday. Easiest process ever! Sign your papers for your chart, watch a short introductory (and very informative!) video of what exactly to expect by being adjusted. Given your little key card/bar code scanner and the receptionist says that its your virtual chart (pretty nifty if you need to visit another location!) I was a little nervous, as this was my first adjustment. Joe was kind and he talked me through what he was doing at all times. Ahh, the relief! Just hearing that POP (by the way, isn't your bones popping!) and feeling more flexibility and range of motion is a relief! The receptionist explained pricing, and all of their packages are totally worth it. Can't wait to go back! Edited to add: I received in the email, a handwritten thank you letter from them! First off let me say that this review is for this location only. I have been having sciatic nerve pain for a couple of months and after trying everything to fix it I decided I really needed to go back to a chiropractor for some relief. I was apprehensive about visiting another chiropractor since my pain was actually cause by a previous chiropractor (No one with The Joint). I had been looking at this place online and wanted to visit this location since it had a female doctor. Nothing against male doctors though. On Saturday Feb 27th I went to Diva's Day Out and The Joint had a booth. I spun the wheel and won a free adjustment. They gave me a card and a list of locations. I was so excited that I decided to leave and drive to the Sunset location since I had been thinking about going there in the first place. I checked on line and saw that they were open until 4pm and it was only 1:15, plenty of time. As I drove across town I was looking forward to receiving the much needed relief I had been seeking. I arrived to the location at 1:55. When I walked in I was asked if I was there for an adjustment or was I a new patient. I told her that I was new and that I had just come from Diva's Day Out and showed her my card. I was told that it was only good at the location listed on the card. (215 & Decatur, almost 20 miles from me). I told her that they said it was good at any location but she wasn't budging. I said that I still needed to see the doctor and as she was handing me the new patient paperwork I was told that they were not taking anymore people that day. Um hello, it was 2pm and the place was open until 4 and there was nobody in there. However there was a sign that the Dr takes lunch everyday between 1:45-2:45. I felt defeated and sad that I would have to deal with more days in pain. I went online when I got home and noticed that the S Eastern location was open on Sunday's and that location was actually closer to me so I planned to be there right at 10 when they opened. WOW what a totally different experience. I told the receptionist about the previous days fiasco and she couldn't believe the run around I was given. She told me that the card for the free adjustment was in fact good at ALL locations and that they stop taking patients a half hour before closing! I saw the Dr, got a full body adjustment, and for only $40.00 received 3 more adjustments to be used before March 28th (I used the card to discount the $59 package). I was ecstatic for my pain to be relived and will be using that location going forward. read more

So Andrea Watson is awesome and has done wonders for my back pain. Truth is she deserves way more than 5 stars. The receptionist is usually pretty nice, but I have to tell you she doesn't know how to explain the guidelines of their program. She told me that it is unlimited visits the first month of you sign up for the contract. This isn't exactly true. You get to go for what the doctor recommends in the first month, it is NOT unlimited. She also doesn't tell you that it is only at the location that you sign up at. In fact, I was not even informed of this rule at the place I signed up at either. It's only $12 for additional visits above the 4 per month, but either way it is still pretty crappy that nobody would tell you that! read more

Ok...definitely been a tough go at this location the last few months. They had wonderful docs, Dr Stanton and Dr Keyser. Unfortunately Dr Stanton left for another practice and Dr Keyser took a corporate manager type role with the company which meant he left as well. It's just been a different place. Long wait times, having to leave cause wait times were in the hour to two hour range, showing up and no doctors there to give adjustments, or doctors not back on time from lunch. Some of it just bad luck/ bad timing /COVID I will admit, but the customer service and overall experience had gone way down. I was fairly angry and posted a fire and brimstone post but have since taken down. Dr keyser in his new role reached out to see what he could do. Now that was amazing customer service. He just took the time to talk to me and address my concerns very apologetically. But he also communicated the practice has had just the worst luck during this time in hiring reliable people right now. Communicating with your clientele to improve relationships was a step in the right direction. I just want them to continue to work on improving customer experience and hopefully they hire solid people like Stanton, Keyser. So if you're in a bind they're worth a check out, but they are still working on lowering wait times, and getting more reliable and consistent people to work there. read more

Really beautiful location! They are super HARD CORE on the "sales" and I mean hard core. You can literally say no thanks that's fine and you'll get the " are you sure you can save money etc" at least 3+ times. My first time here was GREAT but.......after that it became like one of the other reviews a KIOSK chiropractor. It's always the basic neck and back. One time I asked for a specific adjustment and I positioned myself just to get my leg thrown out and pushed w.e way the Doc wanted it. I don't mean in a gentle way I mean in the way you grab your kids when you're fed up!! Lol My family & myself laughed due to the disbelief and the rudeness of it all. Since then I never EVER ASKED for anything additional and we never went back. (We all had memberships) The same thing happened to a family friend that same day and another time they never went back either. There was a woman chiropractor one time and I am upset that I didn't get her name but she's AMAZING! Gentle, efficient, she listens and explains what's she's doing and I mean she's AMAZING that's probably the only time I felt great and not rushed. It's always just a line of people and the usual lay down, ok get up & bye and that's the end of the adjustment. Maybe we just got spoiled a little bit more out at the eastern location because they take their time and truly address all issues. The Doc here is ok just wish it didn't feel so rushed. I know it gets busy and you can't always cater to everyone and some people are ok with the basic but others might need a little bit more on some days. :) read more

This place used to be an easy four stars. Lately they have had so much turnover that they have even had to close the shop at times. Last time I walked in, I was able to go back quickly but the Chiropractor asked me how I was feeling and I said my lower back was tight so he worked on my lower back for about a minute and told me to go home and ice it. The previous Chiropractors used to work on your entire back and neck and take some time to get to know you. I really wish they could go back to the old days with Dr. Cozza and Dr. Macintosh. read more
