At Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church:…read more We care for people. The Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Stephen Ministers, and congregation at large are friendly, loving people who work closely to create a sense of belonging for everyone, from the people who have grown up in the RCCPC community to those who are searching for a new church home. We're resolved  to care for each other by celebrating our lives and the gifts that God gives us and by comforting each other when tragedy and loss break our hearts.  We nurture each other. Join a nurture group and meet with friends old and new to chat about the weekly sermon, join an art club, attend our monthly Tuesday Together luncheon, or join our ROMEOS group and you'll be sure to find someone you've got something in common with to share God's loving spirit. Children are welcomed to our Sunday school, confirmation program, huge youth group, and Vacation Bible School. At Red Clay it's totally cool to be Christian and your kids will love it. We reach out near and far. If you are looking for a church community who actively seeks to help others through lasting relationships come to Red Clay. We reach out to our local community with our yearly 5K for mission engaging families in a fun-filled day opening with a 5-k walk/run, culminating in a spring fling community day when families can enjoy activities for kids as well as grownups. We partner with organizations in Wilmington to fight homelessness and support women in transitional housing programs and give urban youth a chance for success. Regionally, we deploy over 75 people (from teens to retirees) per year to work on housing projects in rural Maine and Appalachia and over 30 to Costa Rica and South Africa. We build lasting friendships with our partners in mission and gain as much as we give. We celebrate Gods incredible love. If you're a person who seeks a quiet and contemplative service we offer an early service where you'll find comfort and reflection. If you love an energetic, laughter-filled, multi-generational, musically diverse service join us at 10 am. If you're looking for something a little different, perhaps a little less structure and more informal, join us at the Cornerstone at 6 pm for our contemporary service.  Like all churches, it takes a little time to get used to the activity, energy, and culture. But, if you give yourself a chance, it's likely you'll find someone, or something about this church that makes you want to come again. We welcome you, we pray for you and would love to meet you.

This church has something for everyone - Bible study groups, fantastic multi-generational mission trips to places all around the world, various community outreach programs, and a vibrant youth program. Red Clay has wonderful programs for people of all ages, and I feel very fortunate to be part of this exciting community. My kids (ages 9 and under) love Sunday school, singing in the Children's Herald Choir, and Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the summer. I love running in the church's annual Red Clay 5k for Mission to raise money for mission trips (what other church has its own 5k?!). The pastors are fantastic, and I always look forward to their thought-provoking and spiritually enriching sermons. There are so many opportunities to get involved at Red Clay and to meet others who want to celebrate God's love. Give it a try - Red Clay is a blessing in my life, and it might be just what you're looking for to enrich your life and help you grow your faith.

We bought Big D's fabulous ribs consistently & even celebrated our anniversaries there! I appreciated how The Well, through Trinity Church, merged Biblical principles in our community with purpose and love. Once Pastor Steve, however, moved all the adult and children teachings to a school; dedicating time and resources on building a brand new construction everything changed for the worse. I saw a big shift toward fund raising for the new church, instead of helping and empowering our community. It made me uncomfortable and sad and so we left. Our family, however, will always be grateful to the staff at The Well and will never forget their kindness and good works

We found that home in Trinity Community Church. The leadership embraced us, shortcomings and all. We were quickly offered opportunities to serve and to meet other members of the Trinity Family. Over the past two years, my husband and I have each developed meaningful friendships with other church members, and our grown daughters are treated like members of the family as well. No church is perfect - we're all just a bunch of broken people, after all. However, we find solid Biblical teaching, humility from the leadership, transparency from church leaders and members, and countless opportunities to serve make Trinity Community Church a haven for our us in a crazy world.
