Insensitive discrimination? I'm sure they didn't mean any harm. But still this seems off.
    Taylor M.

I really didn't feel comfortable with the sign on the door. "Roosevelt students not buying a smoothing must remain outside. Thank you" Does this rule apply for single mothers getting a smoothie? Should the kids wait outside as well? It's only -12° today. How about the group of friends Rick, Ruben, Rodney, and William. Rick and Ruben have money and Rodney has a coupon for a free smoothie. William spent all of his extra money on rent for his parents apartment this month because they are out of work. Should William wait outside in the cold as well? How about the delivery driver. Should he be pressured to buy a smoothie if he goes to pick up an order? The sign is very unclear and frankly very ugly, in my opinion. It lacks detail, direction and clear purpose. I don't want to call these guys racist, I'm sure it's not a color thing. I don't want to call these guys discriminating, I'm sure it's nothing personal. Maybe they were at risk of being shut down due to high volume and Covid regulations? But even still, do only Roosevelt students not buying a smoothie spread Covid? Just can't wrap my head around this. That's OK though, because I don't bring business here. I like to make my own smoothie. Sure, from time to time it's nice to have someone make it for you. Maybe it's even nice to have a wheat grass shot. And for that, I'll be at gateway market or Whole Foods. They have a dining area you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. If they remove the sign and offer me a free wheat grass shot AND fresh juice and smoothies, free of charge for a year, I'll definitely be coming back! Until then. Thanks for reading :)

I stopped here the other day to get a quick smoothie for my drive to altoona. I asked about the peanut butter and jelly smoothie, and they people behind the counter recommended that i try it. It tasted just like a PB and J and it blew my mind. They are able to add extra protein and the pricing is good. Cant wait to go back!

First off comparing this juice to jamba is like comparing a kale salad to a Big Mac. So for the nutritionally up to speed, I stopped here while traveling through the Midwest to California as fresh pressed juice tends to determine my route. This place is legit! Daily pressed organic local! Doesn't get much better. You can try all they have plus create your own unique combos. I did a greens mix, blueberry pineapple and a carrot orange although I opted to wear that one. So if you are looking for REAL NUTRITIONALLY LOADED FRESH PRESSED JUICE, then you found it.

This is still one of my fave spots in town to stop for a treat! I love the smoothies here! My fave is the Peanut Butter and Banana lite! It's mind bogglingly good and is a total meal replacer! I also love some of their more fruity smoothies! The juice here is amazing too! I'm not much for wheat grass shots but the fresh squeezed OJ, it where its at! The staff here is always super nice, they have indoor and outdoor seating, a clean bathroom, and hey they even have Cliff bars, and fruit snacks! Yep the whole gang is covered here! Miss walking here on summer days, with best buds!

This place is DELICIOUS we went there for a yelp elite event, got caricatures, AND AMAZING SMOOTHIES AND FROYO! - My 12yo I took my 4 older kids for smoothies and we all loved ours! Not one of us was disappointed, which is saying a lot. We got chocolate frozen yogurt, a chocolate/vanilla smoothie, 2 Chocolate Berry smoothies, and a Green Nirvana. It was all so good! They also have fresh juices and other goodies. There is a nice padio in the back and a big parking lot. Employees were nice and helpful when choosing what to order. And offered suggestions, and told what there fav smoothies were. (Caricatures are not always there)

Came here for the first time recently because I wanted to find some fresh juice and smoothies. I love the decor inside. It's bright, vivid and filled with growing wheatgrass on the shelf, along with an abundance of fresh fruit on the counter. Ordered a dairy-free strawberry smoothie, along with a dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie for my partner. It was really tasty and I would come back again. It's very refreshing to have a place here in town that cares about 100% natural drinks. Next time, I want to try the fresh juices along with some of the other unique smoothies (e.g ones with peanut butter)

Pretty good, local juice store. I went here for the wheat grass shots after work. I had been there twice on my way home from work. On both of my visits, I had the wheat grass shots, and they were OK. Both times the staff just reached into the refrigerator and pulled out a container of wheat grass juice for the shots. I was really disappointed that the wheat grass shots were not freshly juiced. My only other experience with wheat grass was at Fresh Cafe, who juices their shots on-demand. So, I originally was planning to give this place a (2) star rating, but I decided to try this place out in the morning instead of the evening. On my morning visit, I was pleasantly surprised. My wheat grass shot was still poured from a contain from the refrigerator, but the wheat grass was much fresher. I spoke with the owner, Sylvia, who said that they do juice wheat grass fresh throughout the day but stop towards the evening. I also tried some of their own juice recipes: mean green juice and green hornet juice. Both were good but the mean green juice is more intense. I also really like their business hours. They open at 7:30 AM during the week so I can get my wheat grass fresh in the morning before work! Good place for wheat grass. If you want really fresh wheat grass, go during the morning or daytime.

    Mean green/ green hornet juice

The best juice and smoothie place around! Way better than Jamba Juice and Smoothie King!

Last night was our opportunity and boy was it ever a memorable experience! Their website speaks of it being a colorful decor - and that is true both inside and out (see pictures)! We were warmly greeted and promptly seated - and asked if he could take our picture under the billowing, colorful ceiling (see picture). We started with a a round of drinks - my wife ordered the Ishtar's Revenge (see picture) and I went with the Yazmina (see picture). All of the cocktails are quite unique and we enjoyed both of these. As we started talking with our server, MJ - he looked familiar and his story sounded familiar. We asked and he confirmed that he used to own Gazali's in Clive, IA - a restaurant closer to our home that we enjoyed several times. MJ recommended the the Vegetarian Sampler Plate (see picture) for an appetizer and we loved it - offering the opportunity to sample several different Lebanese menu items on one plate. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Shawarma Chicken Pita Wrap (see picture) and I opted for the Combo Rice Plate (see picture), done spicy per MJ's suggestion. As we always do, we shared tastes of each of our dishes and loved them both! Lastly, the Jalab (rose and date infused water - see picture) caught my eye - so I ordered one of those to enjoy with my meal. Again, it is highly recommended! What visit to a Lebanese restaurant would be complete without Baklava (see picture), which MJ recommended that we enjoy with Turkish Coffees (see picture and video of pouring). We even got an education on how best to each the Baklava - pick it up with your fingers, take a bite, then keep that bite in your mouth while you take a sip of the Turkish Coffee - then enjoy! While it is hard not to enjoy Bakalava, it was even better when paired with the Turkish Coffee. If you found this review helpful, please Share, Follow & Like.
