I stopped by Junction Antiques after getting a coffee across the street last weekend. I saw their cool old sign and decided to stop in and check it out. It's packed full of various antiques and vintage items, and it's a good size - larger than some antique stores. It's packed a little bit too much for me - I'm overwhelmed when there's that many items in a space - but it would be a great store to visit if you're decorating a new space or if you're looking for gifts. While some items might have been on the high side, but the selection was there and the service was helpful. We were able to get a couple nice chairs for a fair price and they helped us get it put of the store because it was cramped. read more

I like this shop! Very nice. They have plenty of options! So so much things to look at and plenty of really good finds! The workers were extremely kind and helpful on the prices and getting us what we wanted. They had excellent selections and I would have definitely bought a lot more if I was in a position to now! Very good! A lot of the items were very tasteful and it seemed as everything had a purpose as well as was cared for before. Will definitely revisit! read more

Great shop with lots of interesting items! Previous reviews have mentioned high prices, which I can sort of agree with, but I also found many items that I thought were very reasonably priced! I guess it just depends on what you are looking for. The staff here were also very nice, so I did not have the same issues with rude staff as previous reviewers. this place is honestly the best antiques store I've been to. I was reading the one star reviews and i would like to say that the woman running The Junction Antiques is very nice and because she is old she probably wont remember your name even if you spend a lot. Please stop saying that she is mean and gossips about her customers because she does not. Anyways, The Junction Antiques is the perfect place if you are looking for rare things at a good price like i found a Vintage Corning Ware Blue Cornflower for only $100! and they go for about $500-$1,200 so i would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting San Antonio or anyone who wants to find rare antiques! read more

This place has a lot of potential with cool stuff from different vendors if it wasn't for the owner, Edna. She gossips about customers in public and is very rude. I have spent thousands of dollars in her store and she will not even remember your name. Not a good experience. I will never do business here again. San Antonio has better quality antique /vintage stores and this is not one of them. Antiques on Broadway has a lot more to offer, to start off with the owner is kind and genuine!The antique mall downtown has a ton more vendors and are actually nice to you! Love this place! My pregnant wife had to use the restroom and the kind woman behind the register with no hesitation, let her use the restroom. The store across the street "karolinas antiques" not only denied a pregnant woman access to a fully functional restroom, but also called the cops if we don't move our car as we walked to Junction Antiques to find a restroom. Ive been here a couple of times, but never spend because the items i find are overpriced. I feel these are tourist prices, yet they're in the heart of where locals shop for antiques. I went in today and finally found an item worth its price, plus the item was 20% off. Yet, when checking out, i mentioned the sign that specified "20% off items unless marked firm or under $20", but i was told that the discount was for the weekend. I did see a 20% off sign for one vendor that said the sale was a "customer appreciation sale for Sat and Sun, but the specific area i found my item in was not in that vendor area. Staff isn't aware of vendors sales, nor did the man checking us out, bother to check if he was wrong. Bad place to sell your stuff if you choose to sell here! read more

The place has some nice stuff and it's pretty big, but I was surprised that the lady running the register, was completely unwilling to haggle over a couple dollars on some art, so I didn't buy the other stuff i had set aside, nor did i continue to look for other possible purchases. when youre entire industry is predicated on negotiating you might want to be a lil more open to the possibility of a deal, i mean counter offer ffs, eh...their loss, wont likely visit this place again plenty of similar shops on the same strip WILL deal with you; shout out to Good Golly, scored some GREAT older comic books there! read more

This trip I didnt find anything to interest me except how the prices have risen over the past year. I guess this is an up and coming area so I will have to find a new place to shop. This place is chock full of stuff that was interesting to look at quickly but nothing I cared to consider taking home. I feel like it used to be better. If you like having a variety to look through, The Junction is a must. It has multiple booths with vendors with differing styles kind of like the Craftiques stores do. Everything from vintage clothing, vinyl to larger pieces of furniture and art can be found here! If you're not sure of your style you can find examples of industrial,mid century, kitsch,etc to draw inspiration from. Prices vary between vendors and they sometimes have sales on their booths. Definitely take your time and keep your eyes open to all the goodies! read more
