I am in absolute AWE of the Junk Uncles! 10/10! Would Call Again and Recommend! I had called around to several junk removal places over the last year both local and national, to help unload some of my parents' belongings. All of those businesses told me to schedule a month (or two or three!) in advance. I don't get to visit my parents often but when I do, I try to have services done within the time I'm with them. Though discouraged, I googled local services again and this time, The Junk Uncles popped up. My husband and I believe the quirkier the name the better the business. Sure enough, from the first phone call with Dominique, I knew we didn't have to look any more. I told them what type of things we were getting rid of and they were able to schedule us next day! Dominique and Jay cleared off my parents lawn of random things we had pulled from the garage and they even carried big bulky metal desks and solid 1980s furniture down from the second story. They worked hard in the sun and moved through cramped and tight corners - all while trading stories and jokes with us. Dominique and Jay ended up making 2 trips for us, carefully filling each trailer to the brim. Aside from the larger furniture, they also separated the things that could be donated, even offered a donation slip! They took cardboard boxes and some trash to dispose of, then broke down things that weren't salvageable. They even let my mom take a couple whacks at a bookshelf with a sledgehammer! She had a BLAST! (She's already told all her friends!)There were pieces of wood and glass everywhere but they cleaned up everything, and in the end it's like they were never even there! I will definitely be calling The Junk Uncles again and I will recommend them to all my friends and family who are in similar situations with their folks. Dominique and Jay, I appreciate you all to no end. You have no idea how much help and relief you have been to my family and I - mostly for my mom. Great experience. Came out to survey and estimate. Came back a second time to do actual pick up. Their price was in line with other estimates but their attitude was much better. Worked quickly and were careful not to damage my yard or shrubs when trying to position their truck. They probably could have gotten their truck closer to my junk pile but they might have scraped a tree so they elected to carry the debris a little farther. read more

WOW! Such a great experience with Dominique and Jay at Junk Uncles. After getting unreasonable quotes from a few different junk-disposal services, we finally stumbled upon Junk Uncles via an online search. We are so glad we found them! They came out to give us a very reasonable estimate on the SAME DAY that we initially contacted them. They also managed to start and complete the job on THE VERY NEXT DAY. And this was no small job, either. We had just purchased a foreclosed house, and the former occupants were hoarders who had floor-to-ceiling piles in some of the rooms. Junk Uncles made short work of the thousands of household items, furniture, and trash that had been left in the house. And the whole way through, they communicated by sending us photo updates of the rooms that had been cleaned out. This is a first class mom-and-pop operation. I give the Junk Uncles all the stars! I was moving, slowly without any assistance, out of an apartment complex I have lived in for many years. After accumulating stuff, I was finding it overwhelming and difficult to deal with purging the excess. I called the Junk Uncles and I was impressed from the first phone call. They were friendly, professional, and accommodating to my schedule. They helped me remove bags of unwanted things and a large dresser from inside my apartment. They tackled my onsite storage garage which had accumulated excess trash and stuff over the past few years. They went through the piles of items, helping me to find the good stuff and cull out the rest. After everything was removed, they sorted the kept items and even swept up the garage. They removed two trailers full of stuff in one afternoon. I can't recommend this company enough. They are dedicated to helping the customer and maintaining a friendly attitude. Also, I appreciate that I felt no judgment over my accumulation of stuff that looked like a mess. They put me at ease and a few hours later, things were looking great. read more
