The Kebab Shop is not as "old school" as the kebab place closest to my house but the flavor is authentic and the food is high quality, made with care, large portions, etc. Prices are fair especially for portion size. I always seen it in passing in wolf town center shopping center but never gave this place a chance until now, and I'm glad i did! The food was PHENOMENAL! Everything is made fresh, the meat is fresh off the grill! So flavorful and tender. The sauces and hummus are made with fresh herbs and spices that are packed with flavor. I ordered the "get greeky" bowl with honey spicy chicken and 3 falafels which was absolutely Devine. I am such a picky eater but this EXCEEDED my expectations. Definitely 5-Stars worth of kebob goodness! Stopped by The Kabob Shop on the last day of this event. First clue the place is good, I walked in mid-afternoon and it was crowded. Second clue the place is good, lots of take-out orders going out the door while I waited for my food, about 15 minutes. I picked up an extra San Diego kebob for sharing at home, and the check-in provided 50% off crave fries. On the way out, I grabbed sample of all three sauces. Every staff member with whom I interacted was super happy and pleasant. The San Diego Kebob is a crazy good combo of carved lamb and beef, pickled onions, feta cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and french fries! Delicious! and, HUGE, easily enough for two meals. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned very well. All other ingredients were super fresh! Of the three sauces, the fiery chili red sauce was my favorite, followed by the green cilantro jalapeno. The yogurt sauce was good, but not my favorite. The crave fries were unique, hot fries, feta cheese and pickled red onions, a very tasty dish. Couldn't wait until I got home to start on the fries, the car was smelling way too good. All who shared the fare were in agreement with the 5-star rating. We'll definitely stop by when in the area. Stopped by for lunch on a Friday. First time at this location. Greeted by the nicest host, Roselyn. She explained the way to order and all the ingredients that accompanied the entree. Your meal is made to order, yet it comes up with in 5 mins. I ordered the "San Diego wrap" naturally, and the wife ordered a wrap with "Carved Chicken". IT WAS SO GOOD, Y'ALL. Came for a Yelp Elite event but brought my four year old with me and it was very kid friendly. Sign on the window says kids eat free Sat and Sun, which is great in a high shopping traffic area! We asked about kids meals at the counter and they had menus and crayons for kids to color. The kids meal we got (chicken, fries, saffron rice) was definitely full-meal sized and came with a drink. They do not skimp on portions here. I visited the restaurant on a Monday evening after work. There were only a few people dining at the time. I ordered the San Diego wrap but requested it with carved chicken instead, along with the fire wrap. Ordering was straightforward and hassle-free. I also checked out the restaurant and decided to take some of their sauces with me since I opted for takeout after a long day at work. However, I was slightly disappointed with the San Diego wrap as there seemed to be more veggies than meat, which was off-putting considering that a price of a wrap is about $15. This was also the same with the Fire Wrap. I believe there was like 3 chucks of grilled chicken and mainly pickle onions. As for the fire sauce, while it did have a decent kick, it lacked depth of flavor and didn't enhance the wrap much beyond the heat. Overall, I'm not sure if I just happened to visit on a bad day, but I hope the consistency improves in the future. read more

I've frequented TKS in round rock and was so excited to find out that one has opened in Georgetown. The staff is very friendly at this location. Food comes out fresh and quick. There is a lot of seating area and it is always clean. I particularly enjoy their wraps. I love gyros so I don't the lamb beef protein, add all the fillings and add fries. The fries are always cooked to perfection (not soggy). I always load up on the OG garlic sauce--it's a must! The wrap comes out to about $14 with tax, which is on the pricier side but i think it's enough food to split into two meals...that's my justification at least. read more

Let me start with this: the food is DELICIOUS, the portion is GENEROUS, and pricing is REASONABLE. I always stick to the classic options on the menu. The wrap: I recently fell in love with it while normally I don't really like wraps anywhere. Each wrap is huge and as long as my forearm - this is for real, I measured it. Prepare to come with a big appetite. The filling has your choice of protein (my go-to is carved chicken and sometimes I do carved lamb and beef), lettuce, cucumber, tomato, raw or pickled onion, and garlic yogurt sauce. You have an option to make it like how the pita wrap in Greece is by adding fries inside your wrap for an extra cost. The wrap here is thin and fluffy with perfect charred spots. The bowl (used to be called the box): you can choose your base of saffron rice, fries, or something else I forgot. Yesss, you can do fries as your base!!! Fries are a must here - they're on the thinner side which is perfect for my preference and they're perfectly fried. If you want a healthier option, go for the saffron rice which is absolutely delicious. Similar to the wrap, you get your protein of choice. It comes with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, raw or pickled onion, and garlic yogurt sauce. Sauce bar: LOVE all their sauces! You can serve yourself at the sauce bar. My favorites are garlic yogurt and spicy cilantro. I alternate each bite with these two sauces - can't get enough of them. Warning: it will leave you with garlic breath for almost the entire day, and it's absolutely worth it! The staff work very quickly and efficiently. They're also very welcoming. We visited this location on their Grand Opening and saw the owner. He's nice and funny. Loved to see that he didn't mind rolling up his sleeves to get hands-on in the kitchen with his staff to help serve more customers. This location is more narrow compared to the other locations in Austin and Round Rock, but there're a lot of tables and chairs against the wall going deep inside. They also have a reward program, so be sure to sign up with your phone number and start earning points from your purchases to get discounts. You can also check in on Yelp for a deal. If you're shopping in the Wolf Ranch area or live near this area, definitely pay them a visit. read more

Awesome. Something told me to give this place a chance and I'm so glad we did. I wasn't very hungry so I only ordered a side of kale & quinoa salad and a side of falafel. It was honestly perfect. The kale salad was delicious. The falafel was surprisingly great as well. I've mostly lowered my standards with falafel since it's usually dry whenever I order it but this version was really good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Major kudos to them for having a healthy (green) side salad. I love that because it gives me permission to order something less-than-healthy as my main dish, haha. My fiancé loved his chicken wrap as well. Large portions at reasonable prices here. 2nd visit was horrendous after being impressed by the first visit. Don't know what happened in a couple weeks? Ordered two plates- first one had beef/lamb protein with rice and falafel as sides. The meat was not freshly carved but taken from a hot table as was the rice - both were dried out and unappetizing. The falafel had already been cooked and was put in the fryer again - I saw him doing it - greasy and very overdone. The second plate was supposed to be carved chicken, rice and chickpea salad. Got home and there was chicken coated in a sauce. A chickpea salad and a Greek salad were in the plate . No rice. The salads were ok but the chicken wasn't carved from the spit as I thought it was going to be but a plastic cup of very tiny chunks of mostly dark meat chicken - looked like remnants from a deboned chicken and heavily coated in a sauce - . Very disappointing. Neither of the apps in the App Store that I had downloaded were working. Both said the store was closed. Not sure what that's about but couldn't order online and no reward points. Food here isn't cheap for fast food/carry out $32 for 2 plates. Probably will find another Mediterranean restaurant. read more
