They have an interesting selection, however we found them (even considering their an organic outlet) far too pricey.

I hope I won't upset anyone by saying that the co-op reminds us the whole food market in a way. For sure it's smaller, it's maybe a bit cheaper and more "convivial" but it means also that we liked the shop, the products. They have also some food cooked and ready to eat in a room inside the shop. We ate there everyday and we definitely enjoyed the vegetables very well cooked, with spices, so tasty, the meat was tender and what about the pizza? Very good! We liked the salad (yam, kale, sésame) You can find a lot of gluten free food and deserts as carrot cake, brownies, cookies... So fresh. It's worth it! Friendly staff! Very nice shop! read more

great co-op with large deli, take-out section, bulk food, bakery treats, and super fresh local produce. After walking in and eyeing the deli counter, we decided to skip a restaurant meal and get some samosas, broccoli salad, local apples, local goat brie, fresh bread and gluten free cookies (try the lemon chip). read more

I wish Calgary had this! They have a great selection of unique delicious foods. Their take-out section is amazing and there were many temptations. The staff are very friendly and know their stuff. The will educate and answer questions as you need. I will look forward to returning when I can. read more

This place is great! Especially for those of us who are vacationing near Nelson and want some good quality, healthy, delicious food! They are pricey, but I've worked at a similar store for over a year in the US and I can confidently say that their prices are on par, if not a bit less, than a lot of similar health-food stores. The best place about the Co-op is there selection of local products, which are all delicious. Buying local is really the best way to get the freshest, tastiest options, and the co-op has all local products very clearly marked and promoted. read more

My only complaint is that most of their goods are pricy, but this is an awesome store with a wide variety of healthy foods and ingredients. Local veggies, organic bulk ingredients, herbals, baked goods, health foods, and a lot more. read more

Finest organic store in western Canada, excellent staff, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Cannot stop in Nelson without grabbing a variety of top quality (and local if possible) veggies, and great selections of all other products. Cannot wait for them to be in their new huge store! read more

The staff are often condescending or uninformed. The isles are not designed to accommodate a person with a backpack, let alone two people side-by-side. I hope their new location accounts for this. Then there is the ridiculous mark up. Its cheaper to buy local BC products in the US than at than here. I understand things will be a bit cheaper in the US with the exchange rate and different taxes, but I would think there is still shipping to account for. Its way too expensive, especially for how inconvenient the shopping experience is. read more
