The Laser Spot is located in the basement of Gloss Salon. It took me a little bit to figure out where it was. Nicole did my facial and she was very informative especially when recommending products for those who are trying to conceive. She taylored to my problem area which were blackheads in my t zone and she went at it trying to extract as much as possible (i have a lot!). There was a little bit of some down time after the extraction, I was just laying there, but I went in with a groupon and didn't expect too much. Don't go. I got a groupon for IPL, she overworked some areas and I felt it when she was doing it. I never signed consent and was never notified she could ruine my face. I have bad scars now. After it was over there was hardly any redness except on one part of my forehead which took a week or so to heal after it scabbed. Note: Not a yelper! However, a place like this deserves a review! I am very particular when it comes to my body. I was super nervous but Mita made my experience so comfortable. For the first visit just to get a gist of exactly how this procedure is, I only got my armpits and face done. Mita warmly welcomed me and explained the procedure thoroughly. I followed her instructions and the procedure was done within 15 mins. I didn't feel any pain and I was surprised! It was still questionable as to how can procedure like this be painless, quick and no hair growth? I scheduled next appointment for next month to complete the procedure. By next appointment, my hair had hardly regrown. I was appalled by the results but it was truly effective. I would recommend anyone to go to her! She is welcoming and patient with you. A week ago I got IPL done by a woman named Kelly and it was the worst experience ever. I regret going there and this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I've been researching IPL for about 6 months; let me tell you the experience that I had was far from the YouTube videos and the information I read online. First of all no numbing cream was used I don't know if it's because I paid for the service through Groupon or what; my face after the procedure was unbearable. For me to say it was unbearable means it was truly painful because I have had every chemical peel under the sun you can imagine and I have never been in the pain that I was after this procedure. The second thing that took place is that Kelly went over my eyebrow with the laser and because I have micro-bladed eyebrows a scab formed. Instantly I asked her what was going to happen and she told me the hair would grow back and that I would be fine. Well let me tell you after a week my eyebrow has not yet healed and after being concerned because of the pain I made an appointment with my dermatologist. My dermatologist informed me that most likely the hair on my eyebrow will not grow back (I'm only 28 so that's great) and that the wound that I now have on my eyebrow will most likely scar. So instead of getting rid of scarring I was given more. To make matters worse my skin is the same it was prior to the treatment. I contacted the Laser Spot this morning and cancelled my follow up appointment and told them that they can have the money that I paid for the next two treatments. I was informed that the information would be "passed along". No apologies, no asking if I wanted a refund, nothing! For a place that's located in such a nice location you'd think that they'd be more professional. BEYOND DISGUSTED!!!!!!!! read more

I went to another place for laser hair removal services before coming here, just to "try it out" & it was NOT a good experience; it was painful & they also lied about pricing to purchase more sessions. I didn't go back to that other place. I found a Groupon deal for this place & what a difference. Mita is a doll, so sweet & personable. Also, this was virtually painless compared to the other place. This is why I purchased more sessions to keep coming back & will buy more to go back again. Parking can be a bit annoying, as there are a lot of stores & a supermarket in this parking lot, but it's worth it. I wish Mita all the success in the world to eventually have her own location! read more
