This food delivery service is not only convenient but the food tastes amazing! I ordered food here due to the recent birth of my son. It's been hard to keep up with making meals. The lean machine to the rescue! The best part about the meals is that they're healthy and they taste nothing short of amazing. I love the sirloin beef. The flavor tastes absolutelyamazing and although it comes with a dipping sauce, I often find I don't even need it because the flavor of the meat along with its seasoning is so amazing! They also have he option to customize your meal and "build a meal" based on your favorites. I did this this week. I wanted yams in my meal and was able to choose every item I wanted down to the dipping sauce. It's a little but more costly to build your own, but it's a nice perk. The owner is super personable. We have been trying meal prep services and Lean Machine had healthy options and an easy website to order from. We ordered a few of their entrees by Friday/Midnight and they were delivered on Sunday evening, in a cooler/bag. The driver was friendly and courteous. Items are in protective, durable plastic containers and labeled with a full description of meal and nutrition information. You can order weekly or by a subscription at a discounted rate and for reliable delivery. The standard food choices are fish, chicken, beef with starch, and vegetables. Other nice options include sweet potato, quinoa, rice as well as cauliflower and Brussel sprouts. You can also customize your entree. We tried for 2 weeks and meals were easy to reheat. We choose to plate them on our dishes to microwave rather than inside the plastic containers. Makes it look a bit nicer. We enjoyed the fish the best. The chicken was tasty. We didn't care for the beef as much as it was tough. They usually include some kind of sauce or gravy like red pepper or mango sauce. Overall the flavor was kind of institutional. That's not a bad thing. Very healthy, straightforward, and nutritious. Maybe ideal for someone who does not cook or can't have a lot of flavoring in their diet. We were looking for something with a bit more restaurant-style dishes. To feel a bit pampered. So, onto trying another service. I would definitely recommend Lean Machine. It has an easy website to sign up, order, and their customer service on the phone and via text are very friendly and helpful. They want you to have a great experience. We are on week three of meal deliveries and we are truly happy with Lean Machine and their customer service. I own a fitness studio and work crazy hours so most nights my hubby and I don't eat together. We've tried meal prepping but getting home late at night we don't want to cook a whole meal. I read all the reviews went to their website found what works best for me (at an incredible price point) and placed my first order. Small Meal Plan (2 meals a day seven days a week) Small Portions per meal are 4 ounces of Protein, 1 cup of vegetables, One half cup Rice or Quinoa or 3.5 ounces of Potatoes and a Sauce. Good normal portions for maintaining good health. Almost immediately I received a text message from Anthony (owner) welcoming me and giving me instructions on what is to happen next. Since then I've met Anthony in person as well as correspond via text message and in each interaction he demonstrated excellent customer service skills. As of right now I've had the opportunity to eat eight meals in total each one better than the first but all of them tasting absolutely delicious. Because the meals are all prepared fresh, all I do is take one out of the refrigerator warm it up sit down in the comfort of my own home or with my coworkers at work and enjoy a healthy well balanced meal. I am not lying when I tell you that I already feel better four days with no junk food and my body is jumping for joy. I've included some photos of the meals that I prepared here at home so you can see just how delicious they look. I've never tried a meal prep service company before, but when my friend Maggie raved about her Lean Machine lunches and I smelled the delicious aroma of her lunch, I had to give it a try. Anthony was my point of contact and he was very supportive and checked in with me after the first day, and the second day, too. I Enjoyed all of the dishes but my favorite is the stewed chicken and my favorite carbohydrate is the mashed potatoes. I just finished my first dinner. Here are my thoughts. Ordering couldn't have been easier. I picked a weeks worth of salads and main courses. I thought the cost was very reasonable. Liya the delivery person showed up earlier than anticipated which was a nice surprise. She was super friendly and let me know all the packaging for my order had been wiped down and sanitized which gave me piece of mind. The first order was the best. The food was fresh and tasty. The portions are great and they are easy to heat and eat. The variety is a little lacking and the flavors can get repetitive, but if you like eating the same thing repeatedly it's not bad. The following next 2 orders were not so great with website order issues. There is some sort of disconnect with the emailing and the phone number to text for additional questions inquiries. There is a delay and when you get a response it is repeated or very delayed and confused between different orders/ customers. This last order was fresh but within the same week it was ordered/ delivered within the good for x amount of days window it already had mold spots and several of the meals were bad. I heated the food and not expecting the food to be spoiled already did not inspect under a microscope. After biting into spoiled food it has kind of put a bad taste in my mouth for these meals. Since receiving my first set of 10 meals three weeks ago, I've been in looove with the service and meals. One of the owners, Anthony, texted me to see how I was liking the meals. The delivery drivers are so nice, and actually followed my drop-off instructions (other services haven't done the best job, and I live in a 600+ unit building). On August 29, 2016, I began a 60 day challenge. My goal was to lose 10-15 lbs. The training program and meal prep was going to be very difficult for me. I work two jobs, one full time with overtime and one part time, I also have a 10 month old daughter. The training program required 5-6 workout sessions a week. You can see my problem. This meal prep place was recommend by Tommy at ATR CrossFit and honestly I'm glad we tried it. The food is pretty tasty, if you've prepped your meals before you know the struggle. It tastes like a healthy home cooked meal, and there's variety (big plus). No it doesn't taste as delicious as a greasy pizza or fried chicken. I like the fact that there's no maximum or minimum amounts, committed plans if you don't want it. And if you want to save a little money pick up the plates on Wednesday, it's super easy. After some research I decided to try this service out. Placed an order on Saturday evening, got a text the next day confirming my order, delivered on Sunday evening. Starting my week trial and so far I'm blown away by how tasty this food is. It's seriously such a relief knowing there are delicious meals waiting for me at home and I don't have to grocery shop or cook and can go through my day.
