She's probably at the more difficult end of the spectrum, but still within the normal range of toddler behavior. We Sent our child to TLE for ~ 6 months. Initially she seemed to really enjoy herself and would willingly go. More recently, we noticed a change in her demeanor- she seemed way less happy and even despondent looking. We decided to remove her from TLE and try another environment. The new daycare also noted there was another child who recently moved from TLE who had a similar experience (and the thought that something may have happened or something was not right). We emailed TLE to let them know our child would be leaving. The content of the email was not at all hostile and was very concrete and polite. We never received a response, which we thought was bizarre, but continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. When we went to grab our things from TLE, they acknowledged receipt of our email but did not offer any additional concern or even a "sorry it didn't work out". We thought this was super weird at the least, and borderline creepy. In summary, we're glad we went with our gut and switched . I realize others may have completely different experiences and would not base your decision making on this review alone. We had a positive view of the staff up until the last few weeks, and this is one case from one parent. The lack of follow up was pretty disheartening though, and the primary reason for my review, as you would think members of the caring profession would at least care to ask about the child they cared for for a reasonable amount of time. We understand there are staffing shortages everywhere, covid is not making things any better, and childcare is one of the more difficult jobs around. However, this is our story and I figured it was worth sharing.

It seemed everyplace we went required a wait list, something I just didn't have time for...considering I would be starting my job in two weeks time. I went to Hope first and we are on the forever wait list. Then I called a few other places Primrose, forever waitlist, Heart and Hand could have taken one of my children but not both, yeah no thanks. Then we found The Learning Experience. I wish I would have found them first! Of all the places I toured this was by far the cleanest. Everyone was incredibly nice Arron took my call and when I explained my predicament he got me in right away to tour and ask all 10,000 mom questions. We have been at TLE for about 2 months now and my 1 and 2 year olds are so well cared for. The included features really superseded anything other facilities offer. Like picture day, OMG they were cute! Every month has a theme and TLE is truly at the top of their education game. Oh yeah and all meals and snacks are included. Pretty Epic! My 1 year old is signing so many words now, my son using manners far more than before. The level of patience these professionals have is truly incredible. Ms. Brenda, Ms. CathyAnne, Ms. Samantha, Ms. Mackenzie, Ms. Lizeth, Ms Amy and everyone that cares for my little ones from the bottom of my heart thank you! *Update* [Decreasing rating to 2 stars] We have had some issues, some far more serious then others, and are in the process of removing our children from this facility. Anything we once felt is completely overshadowed by the constant biting, hair pulling (Final straw, my daughter had a chunk of her hair ripped out by another child...She has a gosh darn bald spot!) and the revolving door of teachers. Based on what she reported to us, the environment felt unwelcoming and hostile. One staff member became visibly emotional when our daughter was hired, which created an uncomfortable and inappropriate situation. There were also serious concerns about unequal treatment and behavior that appeared discriminatory. Additionally, our daughter shared troubling reports about how some children--particularly students from veteran families--were treated, which raised further concerns about the school's culture and leadership. As parents, we expect any school to uphold basic standards of respect, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. We cannot recommend this school to other families.

He looked happy to go to Bright Horizons every day. He is now in the toddler room, and we're having the same experience! He loves to be dropped off every day, and we know he is learning every day. The teachers communicate via the app what they are learning for the day, as well as photos to show us how they are doing with their activities. The teachers are involved, know my son, and show me that they adore him. We are extremely happy with the toddler room. It should be noted that there has been a change in the director at this Bright Horizons, and it has been for the better. There is increased effort for more communication, and the new director seems to be very involved in the day to day activities of each class. We could not be happier with how this center is being run right now, with a lot of improvements recently. Finally, the facilities are very nice. My son absolutely loves the gym. I would recommend this center to anyone looking for a solid daycare.

Prior to finding The Academy ECE of Westminster, my husband and I had visited at least half a dozen…read moredifferent daycare centers for our toddler, from big to small, from national chains to independently and locally owned and operated. We did not have a good impression of any of them. If they weren't cramped, dark, and musty, then they were stark, cold, and sterile. And then there was The Academy ECE of Westminster. The moment we walked through the door, we knew this place was it: the school exuded a family vibe that was both warm and welcoming. In particular, it felt like a school and not an institution, and that was important to us. We thought our little boy would flourish here and he did---he and his little brother! During our older boy's three years at the school before he started Kindergarten, he had made friends with almost every staff member and teacher, all of whom knew him by name and would stop to chat with him at drop-off and pick-up. Our younger boy (almost-three-nager) is now half way through his second year here. At drop-off, he plays peek-a-boo and hide-n-seek with his teachers. At pick-up, he gives them hugs, high-fives, and fist-bumps before happily skipping down the hall. As parents, what more do we ask for, knowing there are patient, kind, and ever so caring teachers who look after and bond with our children day in and day out? The school staff and teachers here love what they do and it shows. In return, we trust them with our most precious: our children. Management wise, it is worth noting that when we started sending our older boy here in the spring of 2019, the school was still a locally, privately, and independently owned and operated facility. However, since March 2021, it was acquired by a national management entity called Endeavor Schools. To Endeavor Schools' credit, they did successfully retain the school's original feel, that warm and welcoming family vibe that won us over to begin with. Most importantly, they have kept the same staff and teachers, the school's heart and soul in our humble opinion. As parents and as long-time clients, we can only hope that Endeavor Schools will continue to value the dedicated team they have here at The Academy ECE of Westminster. We just hit one and a half years here, so I thought I'd write a review to counter the extremely…read morenegative (albeit old) experience someone had. That doesn't sound like our experience at all. We moved to the area in August 2017 and toured three local daycares. The first we toured was more expensive, and classrooms had a very rigid curriculum where I felt like my son would be living under quarantine. The second was cheap but felt more like Lord of the Flies - total chaos, I was exhausted after being there for 15 minutes. Academy ECE hit a good balance in the middle - a good daily schedule but with plenty of free play time while moving between a classroom, the gym, the computer room, a moving space, and an outdoor playground. Staff seemed very friendly, classrooms looked fun but organized, so we enrolled. Fast forward to now - we're very happy with our choice. My son has a lot of friends in class, he brings home artwork, alphabet worksheets, and stories about his friends every day. We're attending birthday parties with other parents every other weekend. He's learning a lot. He participates in some really cool activities while at school (piano lessons, soccer buddies, art, and dance) which really takes a burden off of us for having to arrange those things outside of our daily 9-5, so our evenings can be free to hang out with him and have fun. When I drop him off every morning, his friends are yelling his name and greeting him with hugs at the door, it's great. He's happy and we're happy. I'm sorry another Yelper had such a negative experience, but ask yourself - if someone else's child has behavioral issues around your child, do you want it ignored? Or do you want a school who will work on it, contact the parents, use a process to address the issues? I feel like my son is safe, having fun, and learning here, and that's what is important to me.

This is our 4th center, the other places were not active enough and my son was getting into trouble. Victory at Montessori has multiple big rooms for the kids to be active in when the temperature is not good to be outside. Every week they do a bike day, water day and a sports day. My son does have a speech impediment which we are working on. Almost no one outside of the family understands him; however, Miss Jasmine at Victory at Montessori can understand most of what he says and I feel that has gone a long way making him feel comfortable, safe and happy here. I am so thankful for Victory at Montessori.

The director had 0 leeway on this policy and you can imagine how heartbreaking it is to be out this money as a brand new family. The school's focus on profit and lack of empathy reassured us that we made the right decision. Shame on us for not communicating sooner and shame on them for profiting off new families trying to navigate the daycare system. The director offered a credit but we will not be sending our daughter somewhere that focuses more on money than the wellbeing of our family and child.

We had a great experience *virtually* touring the site. Anna was very friendly and thorough during a time when we weren't able to meet with her easily in person. We had a follow-up tour on site and we got to see the school and I was so impressed to see all the teachers interacting with the kids. I remember seeing one teacher with two or three kiddos on her lap reading a book. I just loved seeing that unexpected sweet moment. You could really see that the kids trust and love their teachers. Our daughter was a little over 1 year old when she started and both she and I had some big emotions around starting a new daycare. Right off the bat, we appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the day. I know when my child has an "off" day and I love seeing photos of her interacting with the teachers and kids throughout the day. Their program infuses a lot of diverse learning opportunities and languages. I really can tell my child is loved at her school! I feel very grateful.

They are aren't the cheapest, but from our 7 years of paying for child care we've come to this conclusion: You get what you pay for. Prior child care places have been cheaper, but we fought with high teacher turnover, subpar(if any) educational programs, and cleanliness issues. With TLE we appreciate the staff's honesty and sincerity. Even within the corporate company's protocol, there is a sense of caring and not just cattle herding from the staff and on-site management. So far, the teacher turnover is low, and the facility is kept as clean as can be. You can tell it's a corporation, but that's as expected. They aren't trying to be a mom and pop in-home daycare. They have structure, but aren't over the top with intense restrictions or orders for the kids or parents. In the education realm, our 4 yr old has really shown progress that we would attribute a fair amount to the little courses they are putting the kids through. Each week we'll hear about new dinosaurs, or what planets are, or some sea animal, or that 4 + 4 is 8, or a new song. TLE has also been accommodating with the 4yr old being bussed over midday from the local school's Pre-K program. For our younger kid, we started him there in the infant room. I would say we like how the infant room is just that - for infants. There's a level of protocol they follow, but the teachers still get to be loving caregivers. And once the kids can walk, they're on to the next class up and so on up to each new class as they progress. This is different than our prior experiences where the infant room was what we considered a fairly wide age range(3 months to almost 2yrs), and were only bumped up if you pushed for it. Our younger kid is now 14 months and started a soft move up in class right at 12 months . He sleeps on a big boy cot. He's given the big kid's food choices. And he regularly has class projects that seem to be keep him busy and happy. In summation - We're happy with our kids here. My one con is more of a corporate policy deal. If you drop off your kids prior to 8:30am, you are charged additional fees(and I believe it's per kid). I suspect that the majority of ALL parents have to be at work by 8am or earlier. This is why I can't give 5 stars. Before 7am, sure charge me. Before 8:30am? They also have additional charges if you have to pick up after 5:30pm. These seem petty. We had friends that chose to go elsewhere solely because of this.
