We have both our kids there. My daughter started at 4 years after another place that couldn't hold onto their staff. She had a great time and has made friends that have followed her on to public school. she still goes there for after school care. Mr. Phil runs a tight ship and is super aware and involved in every aspect of the school. I love that he has such an amazing relationship with his staff and there's hardly any issues with staff retention. Our 3 year old just started there as well and if all I have to thank TLVM for is the potty training, which we failed at miserably, I'm happy. Having said that, we have much more to be thankful for. I see him making progress with his fine motor skills and even his confidence and speech have drastically improved! You can't really go wrong with this exceptional school! read more

Our family has had an excellent experience with TLVM! All of the staff members are incredibly professional, love the children in their care, and work collaboratively with parents to best support the little ones. We have been grateful for the many ways the school has helped our son grow academically, emotionally, and socially; his teachers truly work to understand and respond to his individual needs, appreciate his quirks, and celebrate his successes. The community feel of the school is an important feature as well. In addition to implementing the Montessori programming, TLVM honors other traditions, such as trunk or treat, a winter concert, and student service projects. Students are greeted by name at the front door each day, setting a welcoming start to the day. Lunch is provided, and there is a balance of structured learning, Montessori work, and play each day. We first joined the Learning Village Montessori in July 2021 when my oldest was 2.5 and we were just coming out of the COVID bubble. It was my first time sending a kid anywhere and I did so much "research", went on virtual tours, and talked to so many people for months in advance. And then, I found TLVM and instantly knew that we were home. Now, 4 years later, with 3 kids attending, I can honestly say it is a home and I am so grateful to be a part of the community. My kids have learned so much - not just academically, but how to be kind humans. I have two kids at LVS and couldn't be happier with this school! My three year old has many different food allergies, and is contact allergic to them as well, so finding a school that she could attend safely, while still being included was tough! Her wonderful, loving teacher has kept her safe all year and she absolutely loves going to school. She has learned so much about friendship and caring for others under her teacher's guidance; being in this class has really helped shape who she is and what's important to her. My five year old attends the Jr. Kindergarten program, and it is absolutely fantastic! Previously having taught elementary school, his incredibly patient (my son is quite a character) and highly-skilled teacher has prepared him so well for what he's going to experience next year in Kindergarten. This program is thorough and well-structured, yet so fun because of his teacher's creativity and passion for teaching, that the children don't even realize how much they're learning. If you want your children in a fun, loving, family-oriented environment that teaches life skills and academics while enjoying time with their friends, this is your school! We have been with the Village Green Family for over 3 years. We only have positive things to say except with the administratior, Jenni Hashemi. She is extremely difficult to work with and is not open to alternative thinking or working with parents to help their child. She has repeatedly stated, "this is a business" and as such we now know to treat her with as much respect as she has shown us. I wish this was an isolated incident but unfortunately many parents we've talked to feel the same. read more

We can't say enough great things about VGDS. We've looked at other preschools in the area and nothing compares to what is offered at VGDS. We now have both our boys there and absolutely love seeing how enthusiastic they have become about learning, which the school puts a big emphasis on. The entire faculty is great and extremely qualified and are in constant communication with the parents. It's a great community feel and we would certainly recommend it area parents. read more
