The best thing you can do on the weekend is come in early on Saturday or Sunday and buy a big bunch of their sandwich rolls - they'll still be hot. Of course you can get all your other bread-related products (loafs, etc), but I go for the rolls every time. They clearly switched my cake with someone else's. When I went to the shop today to let them know, i did not even hear a word of apology or any inclination to compensate/refund for this - they said that no one brought the other cake back, which truly has nothing to do with our immense disappointment and the carelessness of the staff serving us on the day. We have been shopping there for many years, even before the new management took the shop over. As a result of unacceptable handling of this issue by the shop management, I will never make another purchase there and advise all customers to check what they get from the shop as service quality is clearly in need of improvement.
