Brinx is a wonderful place to come if you also want to put together an antipasto platter or a picnic pack to take with you. They have a large variety of teas, baked goods, deli meats and cheeses. They also have a shop in store which has a lot of great gifts. I practically bought my mum-iun-law's entire birthday present here! I wuold like to give this place 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't allow that. It looses .5/1 star as the shop is a little cramped. Would definitely come here again.

The cafe churns out a respectable selection for a small kitchen manned by only a couple of staff AND they have Merlo coffee. Prices are not outrageous especially if you're used to the city. There is a light meal and breakfast menus with daily chalkboard specials. We went for afternoon tea - devonshire tea w/ 2 scones and cheese board - triple cream brie & vintage cheddar, muscatels & lavosh (there was actually a wide range of cheese to choose from I'm just a bit boring with my cheese). Staff were very friendly and we had such a nice time we went back for breakfast the next day! Coconut porridge and herb & cheese omelette were really tasty - our friends got The Works and Eggs Benedict. Total bill $98 - incl coffees & drinks (no split bills).
