The lady at the counter was sweet as molasses and made the whole place feel welcoming. Sassy is an absolute sweetheart -- she made us feel like friends we've known forever, so welcoming and friendly. The shop has a great variety of items for everyone at a great price. We found a beautiful set of chairs that we had been looking for, for about a good year, my husband picked up a vintage cat sign, and our daughter found a vintage Coach bag. It was very well staged and set up with some beautiful antique furniture and unique pieces that are made by them. There are a lot of pieces and different tastes for all budgets. Such was the case at this antique mall. I got here mid afternoon on a Saturday and was kind of taken back that there really was not more business than what they had. We were one of only about three shoppers in the place at the time. Well, I enjoyed looking around there really wasn't anything I wanted at a price I wanted to pay. There were a few things I would've bought, but generally speaking the prices from all the vendors throughout them all on the things that I looked at seemed a lot higher than what I would pay and have paid elsewhere throughout the state.

My dad bought a cypress wood lamp from a roadside vendor in Louisiana in 1948. I remember this lamp…read morebeing in my childhood home. When my parents passed away, the lamp was shipped from Texas to Michigan to one of my brothers. When my brother in Michigan passed, my sister in law said she was sending it back to me in Texas. That was four years ago. She finally got around to sending it to me. It was packed and shipped by UPS. When it arrived I was very excited to have it, but very heartbroken when I saw that it had been damaged. I contacted my Ray Staebel via Yelp, and we made an appointment for me to come to his shop. We had a great chat about the lamp and some of our life's history while we worked on the lamp together to make the repair. I am very grateful for Mr. Staebel.

So many compliments. Ray was also able to completely rebuild the entire corner of a coffee table that my puppy chewed off.
