Went to the cda location a half a dozen times my kid really likes jared and janae and my son hubby really likes sue and vanessa. The receptionist is sweet and hilarious. I noticed the wait list is changing and shara the receptionist let us know it it from everyone in washington coming here because they still aren't letting them to beard trims and we are struggling with enough people to keep up so patience is a must if you co.e hear as they can have 2 hour waits. But....they have teeth whitening for the momma's while you wait. read more

LR raised their prices to $25.00. Guy haircuts are not that difficult and usually take less than 30min, add soda/beer, decent atmosphere but still that $25.00 is no longer worth all that. I still tipped the stylist $5.00 because they deserve it. So I was in it the other day for $30.00 for a simply haircut. Ouch! My son and I will pass on Locker Room going forward. The same haircuts can be found elsewhere for less and I will buy my son a soda (and a snack even) at a convenience store. I got 3 boys haircuts. 2 did not know what they were doing but it fine their young boys. The problem was that the bleach blonde punk rock looking girl was rude and rough with my 9 year old son. After the haircuts she stood there with the other barber staring at me until I paid with the other barber. Well they somehow tipped themselves and extra $77!!! I was there a few minutes while my boys played the arcade game and neither of the 2 girls decided to verify the amount was correct. I pressed $15, (which was 5 for each barber) then the barber pressed a button and then gave me the receipt because I asked for it. I checked my receipt when I got home and seen the $167 charge. I immediately called and left a message. I called the next day the manager said she will have to call the credit company and ask to reimburse me. This was all Dec. 19 and I have yet to get my money back. 2 of my boys haircuts are nothing like requested. The work sure wasn't worth a $77 tip. Don't trust these girls read more

Dear curly heads, do not come here if you value your hair! I went in for a basic haircut, shorter sides and a SMALL trim on top. I showed how much i wanted cut off and she cut more than double that. about 75% of my hair is gone and all the stylist had to say was "hair grows back". Typically I would agree and move on, but because she failed to follow the simplest of instructions. Do not come here. read more

Stay away from Sue unless you want your entire head of hair chopped off. My son is home from college and has gone here before with no issues. He went in to get his usual, finger length on sides and longer on top. Well his entire head is less than finger length. She left about a 1 inch strip in front longer and then flipped it up with gel. What the hell is that. All his hair is gone. I'm so pissed and called to let them know that next time she should listen to Her clients. We will never go back here! read more

My boyfriend went there to get his cut for drill and his hair stylist harrassed him about his hair cut. He has been in the military for 6 years and she repeatedly told him he wasn't and was a poser. I don't know how he kept his calm and let this lady finish his hair because if I was there I would be screaming. He paid for his cut (which he should have got free with that kind of service) showed her his MILITARY ID and left. WORST PLACE EVER and that woman should be fired. NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY. This place is great. I usually wait about 15-25 minutes but that is the perfect amount of time to relax, drink a beer, and watch a little basketball. I never request a stylist however, they do a fine job every time. I think this place is worth the money because you'll pay close to the same price any where else except here you get a delicious beer. ATTENTION BARBER SHOP BUSINESS OWNERS! I don't care if you have TVs on every square inch of your walls, offer a complimentary cold beverage, and decorate your place like a swanky cigar room. What I DO care about is that you handle the basics of good customer service. For example, how about practicing the time-tested value of under-promising and over-performing? Today was my first time visiting this shop and I will never return. Why? Read on. I arrived at 2:30. I was told that the wait would be 1 HR due to high traffic on a Saturday. I was told to sign in and I did. Since the wait was going to be so long, I asked if it would be ok for me to grab a bite to eat and return before the hour was up. The lady behind the counter said, "sure." I arrived back at the shop at 3:15 and informed the lady at the counter that my name was already on the list. To my surprise, she said that there were 4 others ahead of me. Her excuse was that they unexpectedly lost one of their workers. So, now I have conflicting excuses for poor service, but just to give them a real shot at redemption, I took my seat and waited to be called. At about 3:25 one of the workers asked me to remind her of my name. Then she bounced between the front desk, the bar, and finally a back room. I waited until 3:40 (10 minutes after the quoted wait time) before leaving. It was likely the worst barber shop service I have ever experienced in my life. Side note: I don't know what it is about CDA, and I won't mention any other business names, but it's glaringly evident that owners just aren't spending enough time to clearly define good customer service and to train their employees how to consistently uphold that standard. This is the 6th barber shop I've tried since moving to the area and it just seems like things are getting worse. :-( read more

Great environment with pool, couches, and a bar (one free drink included with haircut). The staff is always friendly and they do a awesome job. The only con would be the wait time. I've had to go elsewhere twice now because I couldn't wait 1-2 hrs to get in. Hopefully there is an option to schedule an appointment in the future! read more

Two weeks in a rom this place has said they're "booked out" with only one person sitting in the waiting area. i Won't be coming back here. If you aren't able to take reservations or walk ins with plenty of time before closing then I don't believe they should remain open or should go under new management. Lets see. You go in get a beer play some fooseball or a game of pool. Maybe watch a game on any of the flat screens that are everywhere. Then your stylist comes to get you and sits you down in front of another flat screen with a game on. They take their time and give a great haircut. Always very personable. They wash your hair with a steamed towel on your face, again massaging your scalp while they wash. They will also straight razor shave your neck. If wanted you can get a straight razor face shave. I've done that twice and its worth it. I've had about 15 haircuts there and have always been extremely happy. read more
