I enjoyed the wholesome and hometown feel of the establishment. It had been awhile since I had last frequented the establishment, but the customer service level since I had last visited has skyrocketed. I called ahead with a few questions and the lady was exceptionally prompt. The quality of the food was my only concern. The menu was limited and did not appeal to those with dietary restrictions. I personally would not make a special trip in order to enjoy the food, but if you happen to be visiting the area you may want to stop by in order to get the essentials of a pretty good breakfast. read more

All of my family and friends love the Loons Nest. The made from scracth bread compliments breakfast or tasty beef sandwiches for lunch. The loons nest is everything a small town restaurant should be.
