What an idiot i am, this is by far the best kebab shop in blackpool, possibly lancashire. No fancy burgers, pizzas, indian food, fried chicken e.t.c. here, just kebabs about 6 options altogether, i plumped for a large donner (no salad options on offer just shredded cabbage and onion and a chioce of 5 sauces). It was delicious with home made chilli and garlic sauce and the meat was of a far superior quality that you get at the all singing all dancing takeaway. It is run by a lovely couple, a Scottish lady and i presume her Armeniem husband, who were both very pleasant, welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble. I visited early evening about 6pm expecting the lamb to be warmed up or just cooking but this was well cooked and fresh, they dont even open past 10pm so get there early as this is one kebab you can eat sober and savour. If there is a downside it is that the place is a bit dated and could do with a good clean decor wise, but i thought this added to the charm. I tried this place after a search on t'internet for best kebab shops in blackpool this place was there and thats why i tried it, i am going back only once a month though as i have to watch the waistline and look after the cholestrol levels. They often run promotions offering free items if you order over a certain amount. We normally get the salted chicken wings as theirs only two of us which are great! But for larger orders they do offer bigger free items on occassion I would say they are fairly average in price which is great considering the quality of what you are getting

Their menu describes themselves as bringing authentic Chinese food, with an emphasis on fresh healthy ingredients, into the 21st century of takeaway food...restaurant food to take home no less.You can order online which suits me down to the ground, even specifying a time for delivery ahead of time. They have a top hygiene rating and say their food will be delivered using their "...revolutionary packaging system...for ultimate heat retention and freshness." We ordered a couple of starters plus a Thai red curry and also an extra portion of chips all to share. The food arrived 15 minutes early which was no great hardship but that is where anything good ended. On removing the food from the revolutionary packaging system, which was just the same plastic containers that every Chinese takeaway uses I was faced with everything that can be bad about British Chinese takeaway. Greasy, gloopy food and brown soggy chips which had the distinct taste of having been fried in oil which should have long since been changed. The only reasonably pleasant item was the complimentary prawn crackers. Virtually the whole lot ended up in the bin. My recommendation? Avoid at all costs.
