The selection of stores this mall has is impressive and they are all pretty much stocked up. The employees are for the most part are helpful and go above and beyond. Now the one thing about the shops here is that they alre on the expensive side. read more

This place is radical! The variety of stores and cool gimmicks is awesome! An arcade, a salon, and plenty to discover there I tell you. Prices are decent. A mall that is still what a mall should be. Thriving with full storefronts. Busy with people walking everywhere and shopping. A food court full of people enjoying their food. Did I step through a time portal? Admittedly this impression is based on one visit on a Friday evening on the week before Thanksgiving but it has been a long time since I have seen any mall like this. To begin with my friend and I came to Johnson City to try out the mall since its the closes one from Bristol. Pretty nice mall it looked bigger from the outside but its a cute small mall. Not that many stores, but there is a lot of food to choose from on the food court area. Additionally I went to several stores and the customer service was great all around. Also the mall was very clean and neat including the restrooms too. Furthermore if y'all want shop in a hurry and where there isn't too much people I recommend this mall for sure. read more

You failed this holiday season. There is a reason that Amazon is winning. I could never find a correct holiday closure time for the main mall. Your web site was incorrect...your anchors had no idea. On Dec 21st - I arrived at 10:05 P, and you'd locked up everything, but the anchors??? I even spoke to one of the Belk clerks, and he said, "Oh, we never know WHAT they are going to do." It's 2018. Internet competition is fierce. You are losing this. Even if the majority of your smaller tenants were closed, you should have allowed customers to move between anchors. I didn't spend ANY MONEY. And I had planned on doing so. DEC 21ST!!! OK, and can you tell me, why EVERY clerk in every store, SLAMS their change in the drawers when they count it at night. OMG. It is ridiculous. I'm not quite sure how this mall survives. Oh wait, I know. It's because folks around here have no other choice. Security are cool here. Lady that works the customer service booth is grouchy and smiley to those she knows but bothered and seem annoyed if strangers ask her for help. Well maybe not all strangers, but for sure some. Older man who's always there walking around picking up trash and cigarette butts is interesting. It's cool he's helping with making the place look more decent, but I feel the way he gives people dirty looks take away from the mall experience. When I see him I just avoid him... he should smile more. The whole mall has ONE escalator. Sometimes the escalator is shut down for service... which happens, no biggie. But when you've got only ONE shut down escalator on a busy holiday (like this pass Halloween), and there's a line of impatient shoppers borderline pushing and shoving trying to go up and down the escalators... it's nerve wrecking and can be dangerous. Yes I know there's an elevator. ONE elevator. But I try to avoid that so that those who really need the elevator service can use it without being held up. Food court is standard mall food. The parking lot is also interestingly designed. No rhyme or reason to it. It goes all different directions, up and down hills, stops signs here and not there, etc. pain in the butt parking system. And speaking of stop signs, 50% of people don't even stop at those. Police should enforce that more or give mall securities the power to issue citations for those. Anyway, it's the only real mall left in the area so of course we're gonna support them. And things like mall layout and parking arrangement cannot be changed. So just take it as it is and enjoy it for what it is. read more

Express is closed , aero still hanging on some how , vanity is closed but there is a few new stores . Do not eat at the food court (look at my tip) and they have a soon to be dead sears . Mostly belk and jc pennys . They have a ulta which is nice . Dicks is a plus as well . Definitely better than the kingsport mall . Ehhh .... it is a goodish mall . I was pleasantly surprised..I live in Nashville and I hate going to the mall because it is always jammed packed and you just can't enjoy shopping...for the fear of being robbed or just rousted about...so when my husband, Tony and I entered in to the mall and we could actually move around..it was AWESOME!! They have some really good stores which I am happy about since I am relocating to the area..They have JC Penney's, Sears and Belk as the anchor stores..There is also a large Dick's Sporting Goods, then it has some of our favorites, Claire's Boutique, Pacsun, Aeropastale,, The Gap, Victoria Secrets, Aerie, The Children's Place, Wacky Bear (much like Build a Bear), Journey's, Hot Topic, Spencers, Zales Jewelry, Lens Crafters, Payless and Rack Room shoes, Bath and Body Works, Gymboree, Yankee Candles, plus a few more..it has two levels but they are not stacked..they are like a split level..the food court had several nice choices, Chick Filet, Charley's Subs, a chinese and a mexican place, Auntie Anne's Pretzel, Dip n Dots, and Great Cookie Escape...so you can't go wrong... I enjoyed being able to browse with the comfort of NOT looking over my shoulder and worrying about who is too close to me!!! I would go here again and again...can't wait for the Christmas shopping time frame!! Love my new mall!!! read more

I like this mall. It's not huge and you can get in and get what you want and get out. The food court is sometimes packed and you can't find a table, that is my only complaint. Lots of selections in stores. 2 levels, which is nice and makes for easier and faster shopping. Clean facilities. Easy parking. read more

A great variety of shopping! Ulta was a nice little gem within the mall. I'm from Akron, OH and The Mall at Johnson City was definitely a breath of fresh air compared to the malls at home. read more

Be aware! For all they say the word "safe", they can't seem understand that posting notices to wash you hands in the restroom is only helpful is the actually PROVIDE soap and hand sanitizer. read more

Not a bad place to shop. Given the area, it is about your only "mall" option you have. Has all of your basic stores you would expect (Victoria's Secret, PacSun, American Eagle, buckle, belk journeys, etc.) not too many specialty stores but there is a Dicks Sporting Goods. Food court is limited but not bad. Surrounding area has quite a few other options to eat and if you drive about 10 minutes towards ETSU you run into a lot of good local places. For this area...It is doable... It is no Lynnhaven Mall, Surely no DC mall... but it does have Aeropastale, PACSUN, Victoria Secret, and a decent chocolate chip cookie... The food court is nice, Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Charley's Subs... Sadly, NO MACY's... as is the case all through out the south... and Belk is so not my thing, but what can a girl do, they do have American Eagle... This mall is small but has everything you need- good food, a few shops, a really nice JC penny's with a huge toy store inside for the kiddos. My favorite stop of the day was the new Chocolate, Fudge and Candy shop close to Victoria's Secret. They sell the tastiest treats ever!! read more

I'm used to malls like opry mills and green hills...so moving to jc and coming to this mall...was very dissapointing. When the weather is nice I automatically go to the pinnacle. Reminds me of the providence shopping center in mt. Juliet tn, which is gorgeous. This mall is lame and isn't the first place I think about when I want to do some shopping. read more

An average American mall. The JCPenney store was recently expanded to fix some overcrowding issues and to bring housewares to the location. Belk and Sears round out the anchor locations, with Belk having a bizarre 2 location split (one for women's clothing and accessories, the other for men's, children's, home, and plus sizes). The food choices are pretty uninspiring -- they need some sit-down restaurants. if standard mall chain store locations are what you're looking for, the Johnson City Mall is your destination. read more

This place is busy, almost every store and kiosk spot active with nice well run stores, defiantly not a dying mall, good clean bathrooms too. Lots of other shops and restaurants and a decent theater nearby too. read more
