    Chicken mushroom soup
    Ericka D.

The chicken mushroom soup is phenomenal! The gardens are gorgeous and such a serene place to have an elegant leisurely meal. Fettuccine carbonara is delicious, rich, and creamy. The chicken sandwich is full of well seasoned chicken and the fish Lapu Lapu was amazing. The Oreo cheesecake and wine finished everything off perfectly. We stayed in the 2 bedroom facing the forest and gardens. It was gorgeous! I had a 5 hour spa experience for less than $100 and it was so relaxing.

The decorations were lovely. It has a very grand entrance. The rooms are dated but well-maintained. We scheduled a total of 4 rooms, two with their sister hotel and two with this one that was a one bedroom suite and a deluxe two bed w/ garden view. If you schedule through the website, ensure you follow up with a phone call, we emailed back and forth with still issues once arrived. Room reservations are nonrefundable. The front desk did not know about available activities. Didn't even direct us to their concierge. Once we got to the room we contacted the concierge and they were very helpful. The only restaurant has a strict dress code see picture. The linen is clean but worn. Not all the staff but the majority was very rude (front desk workers and the workers at the pub area just past the front desk). The maids and bellhops were very kind. We had an infestation of ants. A few would not have been a problem but many in different areas (bedroom nightstand, living room desk, & kitchen counter). Throughout the early mornings, around 1 am cats were fighting and screaming loudly. My view was over the outside covered dining area. When I looked out, the cats were fighting around the tables. There is no AC in any of the rooms. They do have ceiling fans and patio doors/windows that you can open. But then you have to hear the other guest talking on their patios until they decide to go to sleep and you have to hear the loud catfights. The bathrooms had a smell that was coming from the sinks. Monitor your hot water usage, there is a very small tank. Even though we had two showers, we staggered our showers. If it empties, it will take around 10 minutes to warm back up. Each of these concerns were brought to the guest services' attention. At the beginning of our trip, we stayed at the Sheraton near the Manila Airport and the service and experience were ten times better. So it's not the country it's this hotel that has this many problems. Beautiful views and scenery!

I didn't have a chance to stay and see their rooms, but I was only here for an event. I love their garden and mini playground! From the garden, you can see the mountains which makes the hotel lucky to have that scenery without built houses as their view. The food I tasted was exceptional - they had great presentation (buffet style) and the quality is A+. I love their desserts - especially the one caramelized strawberry and mango with ice cream on top. Maybe people can dine in here to try their food? I would totally do that next time around. It's great for hosting outdoor events like lunch so people can experience the fair weather in Baguio. I was fortunate enough that during the time I went there, it was not too cold or worse, raining. I hope to visit this place again (maybe when I can afford to stay here lol)!

Review: Baguio Country Club - A Timeless, Exclusive Escape…read more Baguio Country Club remains one of my favorite places in Baguio. While it's a private club for members, you can still stay as a sponsored guest, just ask a member to endorse your visit. That exclusivity keeps the place peaceful and uncrowded, unlike nearby hotels like The Manor or Forest Lodge. The Veranda is my favorite spot, with a beautiful view of the golf course's Hole 1 and 9. I grew up coming here with my family, and now I bring my own kids. The food is comforting--especially the spaghetti Bolognese, pizza, and a surprisingly good banana split in the main dining area. Don't miss Kate Reed Café. It's famous for its bread (especially the raisin bread and banana bread), gelato, and cheese bread, which is a recent favorite. you'll also find a gift shop selling clothes, shoes, and local items, plus a members' grocery that carries drinks, toiletries, fresh vegetables, and snacks. The club also has a pet daycare, which is a great option if you're traveling with dogs. For dining, my top pick is Hamada, the Japanese restaurant where the chef puts on a fun show while cooking. There's also an Asian restaurant offering dim sum and other specialties. They offer a range of recreational facilities: a bowling alley, ping pong, tennis courts, a driving range, archery, and a gym with classes. They're also renovating the old skating rink area for more activities. The rooms and cottages have been fully renovated. You can choose between deluxe rooms, suites, and junior suites all clean, modern, and well-kept. The staff is consistently warm, professional, and attentive. The overall ambiance is modern country with hints of rustic charm,it's evolved over the years but still feels familiar and homey. If you're looking for a serene, well-maintained, and nostalgic escape in Baguio, this is it. 5 out of 5.

Champagne, LIVE BAND (almost as good as my Smooth Jazz musician friends) they had a live dance instructor leading the audience to dance while the band played a variety of top hits. So much fun! Holy grail was over 15mins of amazing fireworks right outside the balcony. If this place didn't take me over 2 days to get here, I'd come back and revisit all over again!

The stay was from Aug. 5 to 7 for my parents, my husband and myself so we had 2 rooms. Very impressive and superior service! It was slightly rainy when we arrived and we were glad that there was a covered area where the van would pull up to let us down. The lobby was really nice and Sharlene checked us in. She added my IHG reward to our room but wasn't able to add my parents' room to the rewards for points - the one downside. The rooms were impressive and well-maintained. Love that they have a refrigerator in the room. Everything was very modern. I like how energy and electricity is conserved - as you step in front of your room the light overhead turns on; it turns off after a period of time! My parents felt cold in their room despite turning up the temperature and Sharlene helped them switch rooms. She also hand-delivered an orange, an apple, and a souvenir Baguio wallet. Breakfast buffet this morning had great selections from various fruits, salad, breads/muffins, hot food items (chicken adobo, pork tocino, longganisa, garlic rice, congee, soup), juices, granola, yogurt and cooking station for making all sorts of eggs. I had the cafe latte and it was delicious. My Dad also had the cafe latte and my husband had the cappuccino. We were told that the food tomorrow will be different so I'm looking forward to seeing the selections! Tonight we came to a surprise in our room - a bottle of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon and a charcuterie! It almost feel like an anniversary stay when it isn't. We truly feel special. Perhaps it helps being an IHG reward member.

There is parking for personal cars out front. The hotel is beautiful and kept up very well, so clean. As you enter the lobby, it's very spacious, and as well are the common areas and hallways of the floors. The rooms itself are modern and so clean, which anyone can appreciate. The personal touch of a handwritten note from the staff welcoming IHG rewards members was nice. Workers here are so polite. I'd recommend staying here on your next visit to Baguio.

I came here to get away from work. I haven't had a proper vacation in nearly 4 years. I was hoping this would be a relaxing calming getaway. Instead it was quite the opposite. The beds are firm and uncomfortable. The view we had was over the parking lot and we would often hear cars and people giggling and talking outside. You can't shut the windows or it will get quite warm in the rooms. The walls are paper thin. The first night while I was trying to fall asleep around 9, music was playing in the foyer of the main lobby. It played until 11pm, and because of the very thin walls and doors, the sound echoed into our room quite loud. This all !ade sleep very difficult for me. To make matters worse, the next day we left to go do Baguio tours for 8 hours. By the time we got back, like with any hotel, we expected our room t at least have been tidied up. It wasn't. Around 5pm the maid service knocked on our door asking if they could do housekeeping. We said no as we were undressed and trying to rest from a long day. The food in both the Manor and Forest lodge is overpriced. Good, but not worth the pay. Overall, this is a trip I regret, especially for the price we paid. And I would not tak the same trip again here. I expected far better from a place with such a beautiful location.

That was very unwelcoming. I had requested for extra towels to be brought to the room the following morning, and it took an hour for someone to bring them, after a second call. The same incident happened to a family member. He requested for extra towels and it took someone quite a while to come and bring them. He had to call and request 3 times. Construction goes on until early morning - around 1 AM. So inconsiderate to the guests. There are more staff in the lobby assisting guests than helping out deliver requested items in the rooms. Can be too overwhelming! Sometimes 4 of them would come up to you, though we had enough people in the group who are able to carry our luggage. Customer service at this hotel is very poor. Will not come back.

They have a small frig, coffee maker, hairdryer in the rooms. No safe. Beds were ok and all had new sheets. The only thing was the bed was foam as well t the as per entry stiff and the sheets were hard. The couch bed was hard but we were there for a night while we visited the city so I didn't mind. The bathroom was kinda small but pretty clean. Shower head was a little dirty with hard water calcium but water came out good. Staff is super nice and helpful. If I had to stay here again for a very short stay, only a few of us and on a budget, I would come back. [108/100]
