History

Established in 2002.

Attorney Rick Martindale had an interest in being a lawyer upon graduation from Indiana University but instead took a job as an insurance adjuster. While working as an insurance adjuster, Mr. Martindale learned how insurance claims worked from the insurance company point of view and dealt with attorneys which led him to decide he wanted to be an attorney. After five years working as an insurance adjuster, and then a claims manager, Mr. Martindale return to Florida to begin his own insurance adjusting company called Florida claims specialists. He adjusted claims for several insurance companies and then decided to go to law school. Attended the University of Florida college of law and graduated with honors in 1998. Following graduation, he moved to Orlando to work for an insurance defense law firm called Ringer & Henry. After 3 1/2 years, he opened his own law firm in Orlando called the Martindale Law Group. The rest is history.
