She was this super cute older German lady and she was really nice to us. We got cappuccinos and two slices of cake. I don't remember the exact names but they were both really good and not overly sweet. Great way to relax in the afternoon! Note that this place is cash only. We didn't know that before we went but we were lucky to have cash on hand.

The tea shop appears to be family owned and both the wife and husband were extremely kind and helpful. The wife helped us pick tea, speaking a little English, and was very encouraging towards our own attempts at French. In addition to buying tea to go, we also had a cup on the spot. The tea was great and the environment was warm and relaxing, with jazz music playing in the background. Lastly, the store has a nice selection of different Belgian sweets (chocolate, cookies, etc.) from other businesses if tea is, well, not your cup of tea. Overall, this tea house is an amazing gem nestled in a rather busy and occasionally touristy area that should not be missed.
