If there's one word to describe this place, it'd be cute. Cute hipster Asian decor, cute cartoons…read moreon the food labels, cute cake decorations, cute coffee art, cute little Korean girls at the cashier, cute serving sizes... It's all just so cute!! But I guess cuteness comes at a price, because things here are just a bit exxy by Asian standards. Sure, you'd probably expect to pay $7 for a smoothie, $6 for an iced coffee or $9 for a slice of cake in any other cafe but somehow it just seems wrong when you're in Eastwood. But hey, it tastes good and it looks SO FREAKING CUTE so I'll let it slide. Service can be a bit iffy, with several tables staying uncleared for the whole time I was there and staff not being able to explain several items on their menu. And be prepared to carry your own food and drinks with you if you sit upstairs. These guys are open til late, so it's usually packed on any night of the week with students and their laptops using the wifi. But hey, they're probably pretty cute too so it all just adds to the charm.
