That's perfection and that is customer service. This is a lovely quaint station house attached to Prescot train station. We only went downstairs which was lovely and cozy and has a toilet. Just as well after two large cups of coffee. The rustic vibe is perfect and the menu looked really good. I could even select vegan options. More of that on my next visit. The staff are lovely polite and engaging. You feel more like part of the family than a customer. Tune in on my next visit. I will venture upstairs and add more photos then. Staff are friendly and cheerfull, they sell a really nice homemade soup and varying things such as Chill con carne, Scouse, Curry, Pasta, Jacket Potato etc. even Chips and full english breakfasts are available. All very resonably priced. I fully recommend the Ham Salad on a brown Bin Lid barm. much better than a factory made sandwich from nearby tesco.

Inside Pac Lunch is fairly basic but looks clean and has room to sit and eat. Whilst you eat, you can sit and read through a selection of leaflets.

Ladies and gentlemen here it is and you shall not be disappointed. Tasty and filling just what you need from a wonderful fry up. The coffee is hot and fresh out the kitchen, a perfect accompaniment to wash down the terrific Scran. The interior is quirky and welcoming and the staff warm and attentive. There are many different drinks available from fizzy drinks, fruit juices, teas and coffees The staff are helpful and happy to recommend something to try. The prices at Byron's are not cheap, particularly compared to the nearby Sayers. But the food is lovely and worth splashing out on every now and then.

I was introduced to Black Pudding, an acquired taste for even the English- pigs blood and intestines mashed into a hockey puck. I have nothing to compare it to but a taste of it was good for me. It was crispy, soft like pudding and a bit sweet. I opted for the tuna panini which was terrific. I read it came with chips which I figured were fries but got actual potato chips which was fine I guess. Michael said his All Day Breakfast was spot on except for the sausage which he described as cheap or watery. The other lads said there's were fine and devoured it spite being hung over. Before breakfast I asked to walk past the gates to witness the sprawling fields. I was welcomed with a bit of apprehension and took a few photos as you may see. Apparently no one asks to go back into the farm. I breathed in the cool air and appreciated the beauty of the English horizon. I was met by the owner, Bill Williams, in a tractor who stopped me to have a bit of a chat. He is a funny man when he said the view was "alright" and there wasn't much to see. I learned the farm was 400 acres and how he had a kick travelling the California coast line several years ago. When I return to Chester I will be sure to come back and eat here and say hello.
