My aunt ordered a cake for her 30 th anniversary and the cake did not resemble the picture she provided . I'm upset because I paid for a cake $300 as a gift and it was poorly made and overpriced . The frosting was yellow .

We used The Mill Bakery again this year for our sons 2nd Birthday! Gus and his team built an amazing pirate cake... just exactly as we wanted. I can't speak highly enough of this bakery.... from customer service to great tasting cake... I will only use them for all of our cake needs moving forward! Best of all- they deliver AND they are more reasonably priced than most and the cakes they design are exquisite! They'll get all of my referrals :) Thanks Gus & Mill Team!

My delicious cake

BEST. CAKE. EVER. My parents have been getting cakes from Gus since we were born. I still remember having his pineapple filling cake for most of my birthdays so of course when it was time for my wedding cake-- Mill Bakery was the first place I thought of! I went ahead and ordered a 2-tier cake with one layer being pineapple and Bavarian cream and the other being marble. They were DELICIOUS. Gus did an amazing job with the cake and everyone loved it; we had countless guests come to us and tell us how amazing the cake was. The perfect sweetness and just the right amount of softness. It looked beautiful as well and was delivered on time. You can tell Gus cares about the customer because everything from the consulting to the ordering to the delivery of the cake was stress-free. I can't recommend his bakery enough. It's no frills and not anything super fancy but the quality of his products (I've tried the other baked goods at his bakery also) speak for themselves. I love wedding cakes and after attending a few recent weddings with horrendous cakes, I wanted to make sure that mine was delicious--and Gus made sure that was the case. Can't wait till I come back to California so I can pay another visit to Mill Bakery.

My nieces 3rd birthday cake mills is the best thank you mills bakery :)!!

Old-school, authentic, bakery with a nostalgic feel. Everything is made fresh and in-house including the juices which were awesome. If you enjoy supporting mom and pop establishments this is definitely the bakery for you.

Thank you so much Gus as always perfection!

Avoid This Place! Terrible Management and False Accusations…read more I placed a party tray order with Cream Pan because I loved their food, but their outdated payment system and horrific management ruined my experience. After paying with Apple Pay, their old receipt machine didn't register it. I was asked to double-pay for the items I took that day and come back for a refund once my bank statement cleared. When I followed up, the manager was incredibly rude. When I went back to the store, she became hostile and aggressive. She refused to look at my bank records, threw a receipt at me, and maliciously accused me of stealing their tray. She then kicked me out of the store, claiming I was disrupting her business. I was polite the entire time and have never been so insulted in my life. Chase Bank has officially confirmed that the payment WAS successfully processed and transferred to Cream Pan. They took my money twice, refused to check their accounts, and accused me of theft. This hostile behavior is terrifying and unacceptable. I am permanently boycotting this business.

We are…read moreso sad we didn't get to come visit until quite recently. :( We parked in the nearby parking lot on 4th street. Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.

This Location is in the Center street Anaheim outdoor shopping mall. You can park either on the street or in the adjacent parking garage. As i arrived around 8:30am on a Friday, there was a line out front but it was moving fairly fast. The interior of the bakery is one space divided into 2 sections. The bakery and the coffee shop. Each with their own check out stand. They also have their own separate entrance door. So, if all you wanted was a beverage, you don't have to wait in line for the bakery. The interior is warm and inviting. There is no seating inside. Just high top tables made of barrels with a top for standing. However, there is a patio outside with tables and market umbrellas. Okayama Kobo is an Artisan Japanese Bakery. Everything is made fresh daily using quality ingredients and no preservatives. They use 100% Hokkaido flower from Japan. They are best known for their signature Salt & Butter Rolls, Curry Pan, and adorable character buns like the "Kobo Kuma" I got a "salt and butter roll". It is a light fluffy bread shaped like a croissant with a buttery and light salty flavor. I also got a "Kobo Kuma" which is a soft bear shaped fluffy bread filled with vanilla bean custard. Both were warm out of the oven and melt in your mouth delicious. Okayama Kobo Bakery has locations in OC, San Diego and Hawaii. The prices are really reasonable and the service is great. I can't wait to go back to try some of their other baked goods such as the french toast as well as a signature crafted coffee. I highly recommend Okayama Kobo.

The pastries are delicious and almost too pretty to eat, and the matcha is smooth, flavorful, and one of the best I've had.
