The shop makes great use of the small space it occupies and manages to stock mens, womens and childrens clothing as well as accessories and jewellery. The staff are really nice and friendly people, and really helpful too. They have a good range in the womenswear section which is the biggest part of the store. They are also able to mail order for you, or from another store, or you can mail order or buy online yourself if you so wish. Their sizes go from 6-18 in ladieswear, and from a baby-12 year old in kidswear. Menswear goes from S-XXL. All their sizes are very generous and they also sell footwear and some snowboarding and surfing gear. Well worth looking whether you're sporty or not.

I recently got some turquoise ones with little penguins on for £4. Bargain! They also have very cheap cute knickers. They also have shoes and homestuff upstairs. The shoes are very cheap, and although it is obvious that the quality is not fantastic, they still look similar to shoes that are in fashion. They have some very cheap towels and candles on the 1st floor too. There is usually a large queue here but it always goes down quickly as they always have lots of till staff on. As you are waiting you can browse things like socks which conveniently surround the tills.

There are always plenty of jeans in different sizes but some of the tops and shoes are really odd! Staff are really helpful and the décor is as you would expect from Levis grungy, earthy and cool. This could be the place to go for checked shirts at the moment! Prices are cheaper than high street Levi's (which is well beyond my reach!) but still not as cheap as some others on Cheshire Oaks. It's fine if you want that particular brand, if you just want cheap clothes go to Primark instead. It also tends to be a bit chaotic, you'll often pick up an item only to find it isn't the size shown on the hanger, so you really need lots of time for a thorough search. Personnally I'm not normally bothered enough so I usually leave empty handed. Just as well really as it's about the only shop I know of that charges for carrier bags.

From the outside, the store does look pretty modern, like it has recently been refurbished, showcasing the Polo logo associated with the Ralph Lauren brand, but sadly as you go inside, it feels less modern on the main shop floor, despite it being quite a large shop floor which is a shame. There even appears to be piles of boxes of shoes, one has to work their way through especially for the reduced, which basically forces you to go through every box if you want to get a discount pair of shoes and in all honesty some of the fashion was disgusting, and I wouldn't even find in a charity shop, let alone in a Ralph Lauren store, despite it being from their Polo brand. The staff didn't seem fantastic, they were merely average. The overall feel of the store and slight issues with the layout really does let it down, yet the look of the store from the outside and overall size is good, hence warranting an extra star, so I feel this branch deserves a two-star rating.

The selection is often last season and the prices are discounted up to 30% for most items with some clearance however this is usually very tiny sizes because its a popular brand. its worth popping in here if you are a RL fan and certainly a lot cheaper than going to the USA to buy your supplies. There are usually items for as little as a quid, providing you're happy to buy out of season and don't mind wearing last year's fashions. Having said that the current stock is generally cheap enough anyway. It's great for kids clothes, I can't really comment on ladies but the downside of the menswear department is that, like every other Primark I've ever been in, they tend to stock large quantities of clothes in sizes XS and S and very little in sizes L and XL. I've never quite understood why that is, it's a bit sizeist if you ask me. The shop has been extended in the last year, taking over the former Woolies shop next door to more or less double in size and is nearly always busy, however the hyper efficient till operators make sure you rarely have to spend much time in the queue no matter how long the queue might appear.

I'm rather surprised TK Maxx's main Warrington town centre location in Golden Square has received…read moremany good reviews - although most of them go back to the Qype days and are around 10 years old - it proves this store was at one time pretty good, although it really does seem the store has declined hugely of late. I did have a problem with many of the big brand stores in TK Maxx's Warrington location as they just screamed out small-town mentality and this store like Primark and a few others - shown this more than most. The store was a little dark and felt like it hadn't been refurbished in years - the cleanliness of the store was also poor with so many goods all over the floor from clothing to even their ultra-small technology section which was mainly cheap sets of headphones (come on who wants them after they've got dirty through being trodded on?) The store again seemed slightly understaffed with the staff mainly congregating around the tills - they even ignored items all over the floor right in front of them which for me is just careless. Perhaps once a great store, and a nice brand to have in Warrington but they seem to take the concept of being a little like a jumble store where you can find bargains here into a mess with this being one of the poorer TK Maxx branches I've visited - nearby branches in Liverpool and Manchester are much larger, cleaner and simply better.

It's not too expensive, but not the cheapest place in town if you're on a budget but it's good quality and will last for you. The shop itself is a fair size and the staff are always really helpful, I sometimes shop online too if there's something I'm after and they don't have my size in, but the staff do their best to try and accomodate you in store, but their website is great too. It's in a reasonable location in the precinct just across the way from a little cafe area which is handy for a little rest. It does get quite busy but the staff never seem flustered or too nusy to help if they possibly can.
