We came here as we always drive past this several times a year to go see friends in Tennessee, we finally had a chance to stop by and had some lunch at the Backyard Grill, the food was delicious, the service was very friendly and prompt. We were there on a Sunday around noon so it wasn't too busy at the time. There was a drawing that day so it did start getting a little packed in a short period of time. Once that happened we were ready to leave, there's just not enough machines for that large of a crowd, they definitely need to expand maybe with an added hotel and some more gaming space. We didn't win but we didn't lose either so no big deal there. We will for sure be stopping by again for the yummy food, that was the best part. read more

The Backyard Bar & Grill was good!! It was highly recommended to have the Fried Chicken Livers - which was a great recommendation and more than enough for the price and the whole table. Smoke filled rooms, terrible service. We left after waiting 15 minutes for server to acknowledge us... smelling like smoke. Ugh!

Food ok. Not normal casino grade, far less, ok for the area. Drink prices have gone really high in the past few weeks. Seems after a few years in the area they are starting the price hikes and smaller noticeable smaller portions in dinners. Service is ok, there is rarely the same waitresses on staff. 3 starts is generous and due to the people who is working are trying hard to make a go of it. Place is clean and tables are clean. Bathrooms are understaffed and obviously so. Being male, not as much of a problem, wife says otherwise. read more

Wow... I have been driving by this place since it opened - seeing their big digital sign "best burgers in town." I finally decided to stop, and what a surprise. The restaurant hits on all the categories. The restaurant has a cool vibe and an outside area. The burgers and fries were fantastic. The service was incredible - Colton was awesome. The pricing was very good also. The only drawback was that the gaming hall is a smoking facility, so the place smells like cigarettes. I will be back to try something else. No real offerings for anyone especially for Seniors. Machines are very odd, not any Nationally known type of slots. Also would prefer some fair priced lunch menu. Never saw a slot tech and really did not feel welcomed and it was though we were not even there. Sad, because we pass here 6-10 times a year on vacation trips and enjoy casinos, but not this one. If you're a veteran traveling with a service animal in your rv, motor home, or an over the road truck driver with a pet . Would advise you not to go to any mint gambling hall because they will make you leave their property. I'm a disabled veteran traveling in a small motor home with my dog and wife and was told to leave even though my generator was running with my dog inside and the air conditioner was running. A man named Don told my wife she could not even bring my service dog inside. Will not be going to there casino ever again read more

We stopped in town on our way home from South Carolina. We were tired and hungry. The hotel lady told us to go to the Backyard Grill at the Mint Gaming Hall and we were so glad we did we came back for breakfast! Dinner I had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly while my husband had the chicken alfredo. Everything was delicious! On our way out we stopped for breakfast and boy were we pleasantly surprised. I had the veggie omelette. It was so flavorful. Usually you need tons of salt to add flavor but the veggies were sautéed and full of flavor. The omelette was fluffy and looked like a gourmet omelette! The portions were huge!
