Early for a flight one morning I decided to try my luck at the recently opened Money Exchange based just after check-in at Belfast International Airport. It was a shiny new kiosk and despite the early hour they seemed to be in full swing. Yes, they did have Turkish Lira, yes, they had the amount I was after and yes, the rate was comparable to the online research I had done earlier. The female staff serving were very helpful as I wasn't 100% what the Turkish currency was and the money was handed over in a crisp travel paper travel wallet. Pros: Helpful and efficient. Cons: Definitely worth checking online rates first if you have time.

We went to the post office in ards but unfortunately they didn't have any Turkish lira in stock, so we were directed here instead, and I refused to do any business with this place. I found that the rates that they were offering on currency was very uncompetitive, and once they took away their commission you were not getting a good deal at all. The only reason I would ever use this place would be to sort a money transfer out here, because otherwise you can't get your currency needs cared for a lot better elsewhere if you plan correctly!

This is misrepresentation and when you ask if they have reported this to western union central offices they say no . AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
