We accepted, and after we booked and paid $2200, they began sending us all kinds of contracts, house rules, etc and this is 1-2 weeks from the trip. We were set to leave and checkin Thursday. Then literally the MORNING BEFORE the trip, Wednesday morning, they tell us they are going to have the boat dock worked on and they wont reschedule them. Told us we could still stay or they would book us elsewhere. He wanted an answer right away. Well we talked about it and decided it was fine. They sent us a link on vacationrentalgizmo.com and told us to decide. We all believed this was an absolute setup, like a let's get people to just book and we will throw them wherever we want. If a property isnt available the dates should be blocked. And if you put people in a second property why have maintenance schedule the same time when it's been booked for 3 weeks? They overbook properties and dump vacationers into whatever house they have available. Before even telling him what the problems were he said this home is less than a year old. I told him it doesnt matter how old it is, problems exist and we can show him pictures to prove it but he said he believed me. Pool very hot with a heater. In florida? You need a pool cooler. Not heater. Ants, they called them crazy ants, were all over the house. Around the microwave, all over the floor, in the shower tub, on the counter. Spiders were everywhere too. Fridge was broken, and wouldnt be fixed until 4 days later when a part came in and when we would be checking out. They had to bring us dry ice. Handle in the master bathroom broken. 2 sets of curtains the covered 2/3 of the windows. We had to put up a blanket to block the sunlight.

I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

Erin had scouted the location ahead of time, so she had a great sense of purpose and was really creative and flexible in her shots; she was especially interested in what we wanted and in getting the right "feel" for our family. They were also excellent with the small (and not always cooperative!) children in our group. In addition, Erin was super communicative ahead of time and had great suggestions for our pre-shoot questions (wardrobe, locations, etc.). Of course, best of all, the pictures were amazing! We are so grateful to have worked with such generous and incredibly talented photographers; they are worth every single penny.
