Not once did Albert call me and let me know what occurred. I had to book a flight within 24 hours get my children from a stranger nanny I didn't know, and my children ended up sleeping at her and her husbands home. How did I find out something went wrong..?? you can be a mother of 2 in your mid 30's trying to party on South Beach mid day.. I guess Albert wanted to help her hide this from me. I'd stay away from this school and owner. I really want to sue him. It's also fairly new, it's been open 6 months more or less. They accept children 18 months to 6 years old and therefore I don't have a kid that age but my coworker/best friend drops off her daughter every day and I usually go with her to either drop off or pick up her up. The staff is friendly and are always aware for the safety of the children and know who is picking them up all the time. So far I've heard no complaints and my friends daughter has learned a lot since being there since they teach a non traditional style of learning, Montessori. BTW Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential. They are a little pricey I think $700-800 a month but worth it if you can.

He has gone through Pre-K2 all the way to VPK, and the growth we've seen is incredible. The teachers are truly nurturing, caring, and very engaging with the kids. They make learning fun while still focusing strongly on academics, which is very important to our family. My son can write his first and last name, is learning how to add and subtract, and is leaving VPK already writing words and understanding letter sounds (which is so important!). He's also doing very well with CVC words and scored highly on the Florida VPK assessments, which really shows how well they prepare the children for kindergarten. The staff in the front office are just as amazing they know not only my child's name, but also his siblings who don't even attend the school. That personal touch means so much. The director is always present, greeting families and knowing parents by name, which creates such a warm and welcoming environment. Another huge plus is how clean everything is. The school does an excellent job maintaining cleanliness, and my child rarely gets sick, which speaks volumes. Overall, the entire staff is warm, caring, and truly invested in the children. When I addressed a billing error (which the school initially confirmed would be added to my tuition), I was sent an email falsely claiming I hadn't paid. When I questioned this, I was met with dismissiveness and conflicting information. I later confirmed -- through the parent group chat -- that I was misled about the nature of the email distribution. Instead of owning the error, the director chose to deflect. Even more concerning, Ms. Rodriguez has attempted to tell parents we are not allowed to discuss issues with the school in our WhatsApp group chat -- a platform completely unaffiliated with the school. This attempt to silence feedback only adds to the feeling that leadership is more focused on controlling perception than actually resolving concerns. After raising my concerns via email, I was also blocked from viewing the school's Instagram Stories -- a move that felt retaliatory and unprofessional. Additionally, despite respectfully requesting that all communication remain in writing, one of the school's owners refused and insisted on a phone call. When I declined for documentation purposes, I was dismissed and never contacted again. Another owner, the Principal of Pinecrest Glades Academy, never responded to my message at all. It also appears that Ms. Rodriguez may be attempting to downplay or hide issues from other families -- potentially due to the fact that her own child attends the school. This presents a troubling conflict of interest, especially when decisions and communication seem more focused on image management than transparency or child well-being. This is not the type of leadership I expect from an educational institution. Parents deserve accountability, open communication, and professionalism -- not censorship, avoidance, and retaliation. I'm sharing this review in the hope that Pre Tech Academy leadership begins to value the trust families place in them.

Finally we decided that he needed to get back into the school setting so my wife did some research. Our first impression was great, and we ultimately decided to enroll our son with them. We enrolled him for their summer program mainly to get him acclimated to the school setting before starting the first grade there in the fall. He was happy to be going the first day I dropped him off, which was such a huge relief given the previous school experience. Moreover, when I asked him later that night if he had a good day at school, he told me, "No, I had a bad day." I thought, "Oh great, not again," but my wife told me it was because he was upset that he had to leave when she went to pick him up. I am glad that my wife has found this school, and that they truly live up to their name. It was such a huge relief to find out that Children's Resource has all the resources my son needs to thrive in a school setting. Not only that, they are more than willing to work with you and any with other resources you have obtained outside of the school's network.

They help your child learn to walk, sleep on a mattress from a crib, speak, feed themselves, potty train, color, alphabets, and writing their name, letters and words. They also teach your child how to read site words. Each classroom door is colored a different color so that it is easily identifiable for parents and children to know what class they are in. Each teacher is extremely helpful and geared toward teaching your child moral ethics. My son attended The VPK program here and it was great. He is more then prepared to start kindergarten. My youngest started at 6months as I had to go back to work. And since then no problems nothing but smiles over here. Administration is very approachable and informative about your child and their progress. Obviously they can't do everything so parents need to do their part also. Here at CPA their prices are very reasonable for they time frame and care you and your child receive. CPA schedules great field trips for your children to attend to. Their rostering and head count are very strict to account for every child. They also in courage parents to participate in the field-trip as chaperones. All teachers here are CPR certified by the American Heart Association. This is a plus where I do feel say for my child. Also conveniently located there is a MDFR station across the street.

After my experience here I reached out to the accreditation organization to file a formal complaint, and it turns out, smart starts has simply copy and pasted the seal to their page. Apple destination confirmed that this school does not hold accreditation. Starting with that fact, please read and consider another school. Unfortunately over the past few weeks, we have observed concerning behavior from both the teachers and the students in the prek 2 room, deeming the space unsafe for our child. In our opinion, the physical nature in which the teachers address the children is not up to the standards that we hold for our family. On multiple occasions we have witnessed the prek 2 teacher and teachers assistant engaging in tactics to physically manipulate, move or reposition children throughout the classroom space in a way that appears aggressive. There is a very apparent lack of warmth, patience and care that is expected and necessary to deal with children. Additionally, observing the interactions between students with hitting, kicking and pushing also makes us concerned for the safety of our child (and the others in the classroom). We have worked very hard to teach our children what is and is not acceptable when it comes disagreements and violence. While I understand that some of these behaviors can be "normal", they are not being dealt with in a way that we see as adequate from the teacher. We feared for her safety, and worried that she would pick up negative behaviors in this environment. In terms of the classroom environment, we have not seen structured lessons, co-learning facilitated by an instructor or any type of curriculum applied. As a person who has worked in education administration for over a decade, it makes me very concerned for the students academic development. I am all for open play, and I agree that play is a large part of active learning, but there needs to be some kind of facilitation. For us, this type of classroom does not lend success for our child. In regards to usage of screen time, though we had a brief conversation about the use of the phone in the classroom, I felt that if there is a policy in place for use of screens, it should be abided by. We as parents are also required to follow the schools policies, and we expect the same rule book to be followed by staff. If the children were engaged in structured learning throughout the day, the screen use would not bother us as much - I understand it can also be a teaching tool- but in this case, it very much is applied as a distraction and a bandaid. It's quite sad to me that you have a room full of curious, wonderful and excited children with little intent to keep them engaged in other, hands on ways. I wish what I experienced was a joke. I wish what I saw wasn't actually what's going on here. Let me say this- we are a daycare family. My kid has been in school since she was 3 months old. I was horrified by the way this teacher handled her students and I do not think it was appropriate. Further, in discussing with the director, it was very clear that nothing would change. In fact, she was present in the classroom for some of the behaviors. Take your child elsewhere. There are plenty of options. This specific classroom is not safe.
