Excellent views with a fun ambiance. Great for Happy Hour Specials. Restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. The Guacamole was very good and the Birria sliders were full of flavor. The tap beers were nice and cold.

The moonstone was wonderful and delicious. We both got the Beria nachos and they were great. We also got the tres leches for dessert. For the portion size the nachos were big enough that I couldn't finish them, but my husband was able to finish his plate. There are only a few options on the menu. It is mostly drinks which we did not get. The service was super speedy and fast. They were super kind and friendly and on top of that it was the cutest little restaurant you've ever seen I love the skyline view so pretty definitely recommend I will be going back.

5 stars for the service and the drink! Bar and inside is cool. Taylor was a great bar tender. Ordered the Tugatini and was not disappointed. I typically don't like citrus forward drinks but this had a nice balance to it and it really did taste like a key lime pie dessert. Outside is cool too but the glass needs to be cleaned. It's quite dirty/smugger which takes away from it being an awesome rooftop when you're siting down and all you see is a dirty sheet of glass. Would definitely come back here if I'm staying at the graduate!

Loved this drink but can't remember what it is called.

Loved this place. This restaurant is inside a hotel called the graduate downtown Tucson. We went to the rooftop bar and it has the best view ever got there at sunset so it was perfect. Our waitress was the best the entire staff actually were extremely nice and the food well this stole the show the birria tacos were amazing. And they loaded them with birria the wings were good too but the nachos stole the show. We had a few drinks and too notch too their old fashioned was smooth definitely a place to celebrate something or someone.

Great spot in town to grab a drink and app! The Moonstone has the best view of the sunset and lots of great seating. My go-to before stoping by the bars on University blvd or for a catch-up with my friends.

Pretty cool for a hotel bar ... combined with a rooftop pool I mean ... for Tucson this is great.

Such a great bar/grill on top of the Graduate Hotel. A simple, but nice menu. Great views. Indoor/outdoor seating. TV's for big games. Taylor was our bartender. She is super friendly and attentive. A really nice space.

The Moonstone is located on the rooftop of The Graduate Hotel. The main reason to visit this bar is for the amazing views and mountain scenery! This is an excellent spot for after work cocktails or pre-dinner drinks. As soon as we walked in we were seated and our drinks came out right away. Cocktail prices range from $14-$17 each, so they are a bit on the higher side compared to other bars in town. I enjoyed the Hibiscus Mezcalita, which had a smoky flavor. I also tried the Cactus Water, but did not enjoy that drink as much. They have tons of different seating arrangements from equipale chairs, couches, hanging swing chairs, a bar area, and a really nice outdoor area with fire-pit tables. They do have a limited selection of food items, however I did not try any this visit. A couple of disclaimers to note, the tables were not super clean during my visit. They also did not provide drink coasters or napkins. Lastly, parking can be a little tricky and often requires meter parking nearby. Again, the views still make this a place to visit.

Such an amazing time! Loved the drinks, the view and the food. Definitely coming back again

Rooftop bar in Downtown Tucson? Yes sir! Really chill vibe...especially for a Saturday afternoon with all the students getting on campus to start the year. Great food. Had the shrimp ceviche and street tacos. Great seating inside at the bar or cool seating out on the deck that we couldn't enjoy today but if we come back down in the fall with definitely do sitting on the deck.

Came for a view of the sunset along with drinks, The Moonstone did not dissapoint and was recommended by a local friend We ordered a couple of cocktails and they were all tasty and refreshing, and considering it's a rooftop bar, not overly priced which is appreciated

    Food with the view!

I had only been here for some yoga classes and finally got to really enjoy this place! First of all, you can't beat the view! You pretty much have 360 (almost) view of Tucson and who wouldn't like to watch the sunset from here!!??! Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and super friendly. They have amazing drinks!! I would love to try all of their special cocktails one day! I tried their Gila Monster cocktail and it was so refreshing!! Food is pretty good as well!

Our sever was prompt and very attentive. We order a zero proof drink (the Sunset on Sentinel) and the NA beer they had available. We skipped right to the main course since we had a quick turnaround. I went with the beef short rib ravioli and my husband had the fish and chips. We enjoyed some complimentary bread and oil as a little app before dinner came out. The ravioli was so flavorful (maybe a tiny bit too much cream sauce on the plate) - it was delicious. The fish came out crispy and perfectly battered, and flaky and moist inside. We would definitely come back next time we're in town and spend a little more time enjoying a full meal. We had a great experience.

It was a smash cheeseburger on texas toast, fries and one big chicken tendy. I got the special to try their burger for the first time and save some money. I'm not usually a fan of having my burger smashed but this one was hitting the spot. It had a slice of American cheese and their cowpig sauce. Very tasty I must say. I found myself dipping it in more sauce. The fries were perfectly crispy, they kinda remind me of McDee's fries and were just as good. The tendy was huge and crunchy and served with a side of ranch and cowpig sauce. I also enjoyed the "jams" they were playing. It was some old school 80's and 90's hip hop and R&B bangers. The bar itself is very small but you can sit out in the back if you need more space. Although I didn't drink this time, it appeared that they had some really good beers on tap as well. Next time I'll will have to grab a few.

The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! That whole St. Philip's area always has a great energy, and UPH is a big part of that. There's usually a crowd, live music or sports on, and it feels like one of those places where you can bring friends from out of town and know it'll be a fun time. Food is consistently solid. The grilled chicken sandwich is my go-to and it's good every time. We both usually get one, and a lot of the time we'll add buffalo wings, which are some of our favorites in Tucson. Good flavor, good texture, and always reliable. If anything, the wings could always use a little more sauce, but they're still one of the better orders on the menu. The only real issue, and it happens pretty often, is the service speed. Everyone there is friendly, but the place always feels understaffed, especially when it's busy. We've had multiple times sitting outside in the Arizona heat where it takes 15-20 minutes just to get water to the table, and you start wondering if you should go up to the bar yourself to get things moving. Once service gets going everything is fine, but getting that first round of attention can take longer than it should for how often this place fills up. Even with that, we keep coming back. The food is consistent, the atmosphere is great, and the plaza has a real sense of community that makes it easy to hang out there for a while. It's one of our go-to spots in Tucson, and it's still somewhere we bring friends when they're visiting. So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great.
