When I say it's over the top Christmas decorations, I mean OVER THE TOP. I've never seen anything like it, and I mean that in a great way. If you're looking for wonderful Christmas decorations, accessories, ornaments, etc. This is definitely worth a trip before Christmas. I went 3 times this year LOL. I bought some fun new ornaments for our tree and my friend bought home accents. They also sell other items - candles, jewelry, a wide range of dips/mixes. They walk around with samples of drinks and dips so you can check out their mixes. They also sell jams and relishes. This last trip, we bought the bacon/horseradish dip and the chipotle ranch dip. I made the bacon one into a dip and the ranch one into a cheese ball. Both were delicious. My friend bought and made the apple cider drink, which has you add caramel vodka. The drink was delicious! The Christmas Jam was also a hit (it's strawberry/cranberry). Highly recommend if you're near Eustis - and there's a Foxtail next door if you want to grab a quick coffee and sit out and enjoy the beautiful weather.

It was just such a strange collection of things for sale that it just didn't make sense to me. Prices seemed a little overpriced but I guess it's to be expected since Mount Dora is a bit of a touristy town. Don't know if I'd go out of my way to come here, there are so many more interesting stores to spend your money in!

This store is jam packed with the cutest things. Besides selling items this store also offers classes so you can create your own special creations. A class schedule can be found on the stores website. If I lived locally I would be visiting this store all of the time.

Now it is used to sell works by regional artists and souvenirs of the Lakeside Inn. Items include jewelry, art, wood, glass work, woven goods, soap, yard decorations, and books by regional authors. I like how they have signs listing details about the artists. I believe the artists also come to the store for exhibitions so you can meet them in person. The items were exquisite and therefor expensive but they did have a sales table. One necklace I admired was $65. There are two rooms filled with unique, one of a kind items. The whole store is darling. I could have easily spent the bank there. Unfortunately it was the first store I looked through in Mt. Dora so I wasn't willing to commit to anything but I would definitely come back next time I visit.

My favorite must stop spot is there sitting on the beach chairs checking out the water. So beautiful and peaceful!
