The driver was very kind, friendly and safe driver. My car went in for diagnostics, after inspection, I gave a go to replace the clogged CAT. They gave me a very great inspection report, full with pictures and easy to read descriptions (I also very much like the 3D video explanations to which parts they are referring to). For now, it runs a lot smoother and I'm very happy with how my car runs (I haven't driven it long enough yet). I drive the most in my family, so it feels great to get things I need done now. :) My cons: I would say communication could be a little better. I had dropped my car off 5/29 and didn't get it back until 6/12. It's the longest I've ever had my car stay at a shop, and I will admit I was uncomfortable with how long it stood there. I did feel strung along the entire process, as I was told multiple different dates when my car should be finished. I had to call the shop a good number of times to get an update and I hate having to call to ask the same question over and over (felt like a kid on a road trip constantly asking "are we there yet?"). So, I'm not sure how their process goes about when taking in cars, if maybe they take a little too much than what they can handle time-wise or if maybe scheduling an appointment with them would make a difference? I didn't find out what the issue was until I had come in to pick up my car, to which I am very understanding that things happen, but I wish I was informed during the phone calls I had made. I'm aware of the excessive amount of problems there are with CAT's and they had informed me that the CAT's were being stolen during transport before they even reach the shop or customers (which is such an issue in itself, that ticks me off), so the shop had faced delay due to those circumstances that were not in their control. :) Overall: Pretty good and very kind set of guys that work there. Communication with the customer could be better, so I didn't have to feel left in the dark. Would prefer accurate finish dates and with explanation if there is ever delay (I did refuse a rental car in the beginning because I was told inspection would be done the following day if not till very early next week, but then a few days became 2 weeks) so, definitely want more accurate times to plan my days that I don't have a car. :)

He was rude, didn't greet me, and dismissed my concerns instead of offering any apology or empathy. He handed me a paper with another new code and quoted labor costs of $160, with no parts even required. Despite their supposed warranty, I've had to return repeatedly. Each time, a new code, a new cost, and dismissive treatment. Randy even remarked that my car is old and implied I should expect ongoing issues. Yet this doesn't excuse poor service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I can't recommend this shop to anyone looking for accountability or respect.

I called Valley Truck Specialties and spoke with Roy. We talked about what my typical use for my F-150 Lightning (5'7" bed) would see on an infrequent basis - nothing heavy duty, just full sheets of plywood, 2x4s, some pea gravel, etc. Roy didn't have a single negative thing to say about other comparable spray-in bed liners. His point was to simply educate me on what I would consider to be the best suit for MY needs in protecting my truck bed. Valley Truck had my business at that point. On my appointment day, I met with Troy and I asked him regarding the specifics on what the Bullet Liner coverage would look like and what was involved with regards to the removal of non-coated items in the truck bed. Troy went over all the details with me as he called out areas in my truck bed that would see coverage, what would be pulled/masked off that should not be sprayed, and even the reasons for why certain things would be elected to be kept bare, such as the bed bolts. Now, I've spoken with others and have had the personal experience of seeing a multitude of different truck bed lining treatments - all I can say is, Troy is representative of a professional with an attention to detail skill set and someone who takes pride in their craft. That attention to detail showed and the result was an ultra-clean and well-laid out coverage throughout the F-150's bed. Best of all, it's not super-abrasive, but definitely has a gripping surface with a hardness that can obviously take a beating. I'm really pleased with the result. If you're looking to save some skin on those knees when kneeling down in your truck bed and you're looking for a very competitively priced spray-in bedliner that is hard as nails, this is the way to go!
