1/2 Macaroni Pony and a cup of tomato soup. Both Excellent.

Lunch with friends at the Mule. It's been a while since I last dined at the Mule. I love the venue, it's a bit ecceltic, definitely casual and just a fun place to grab a good meal. Love their lunch special. Half a sandwich with a drink, with the option of a salad, cup of soup or fries. We started today with an order of fried cheese curds which are outstanding. I had the Philly cheese steak that with fries. The sandwich was good, the fries were excellent. Got caught up in conversation and forgot to take a pic of the sandwich. Great lunch. Excellent service. A good time was had by all!

I hadn't been since they moved to the new digs. It's a totally different vibe but food is just as good. We tried the cheese curds. So good with the tomato soup dipping sauce! The chips and dips was great too. Loved the queso!!! I once had a fabulous portobello mushroom sandwich here but it is not on the menu anymore. I went with the Herbivore because I thought it would be similar. It wasn't. It was OK but was a super mess to eat and I really didn't care for the beets that were included on it. Messy sandwiches are kind of a theme here and is by no means a condemnation! Elote was the seasonal side offering and it was delicious with a huge dollop of mayo sauce and even more finely grated cojita! It was a pretty hefty serving and I should have just had that for lunch! Service was good for a busy late lunch. This is always a solid option in the plaza district.

The waitress was super sweet and attentive. It's a very cute place with a great variety of sandwiches. I had the club sandwich with onion rings. And they have a revolving cake meaning it changes and today it was an amazing lemon cake served with strawberry ice cream which was amazing.

The food was so yummy. The service couldn't be better. My bartender was Blake he was so sweet, attentive, personable, and funny. Our drinks and food all came out at the speed of light. My husband and I couldn't have chosen a better place to pregame our John mulaney show. Ambiance is warm and homey.

I have loved the mule for years! Love the new location. Great food. Best cheese curds around. Nice drink selection. Attentive staff. Nice seating options inside and outside.

I looked up this restaurant on the drive to Oklahoma City and new I had to check it out. Unfortunately, it almost did not come to fruition because it was located in a artsy little area with HORRIBLE parking. If I have to stress to get there, my general rule is that it is not worth it. Luckily, I drove around and bit and a spot did become available. The menu was absolutely fabulous with lots of options. I decided on the cheese curds, tomato soup and fried okra. The cheese curds portion size was large and they were probably the best I have ever had. They came with ranch and tomato soup for dipping. The okra was perfectly fried and also delicious. The tomato soup was good however, too salty for my taste. The abundance of salt did make it the perfect dipping companion for the cheese curds though. My server, Rebecca was exceptional and the ambiance was upbeat, artsy, warm and inviting.

The mule is a great spot at the Plaza District. Their food always hits the spot! I think the best part of the mules is all their fried side options and sauces! Sweet potato fries, tater tots, fried okra! They're always so good! Then you can go walk around the plaza to not feel as bloated after the staff is always kind and helpful! They can get busy so plan accordingly for rush hour! The macaroni pony w grilled onions and jalapeños is always my go to!

One of our favorite spots. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich on the Special Board. It was pretty good, lots of chicken. I still love the Cortez served on Jalapeno Bread with added Bacon. I've had it so many times, I have stared checking the Special board first. I can't seem to find anything I like better. So "If it ain't broke don't fix it" ! Parking still can be a problem. We like to park right across from it. If we have our Little one it's hard if we have to park down the street somewhere. We try to never come on Saturday, to crazy for parking.

Amazing taste! Had a party of six. We all got different food and shared. EVERYTHING was delicious, particularly the cheese curd poutine fries and the dessert! Prompt and friendly service. Easy 5 stars!

A staple in the Plaza District. Never disappoints. Drinks and food is always on point. The service is always friendly and welcoming. Just a good relaxed vibe and and place you can hold a conversation while you eat and drink. I always enjoy coming here.

I had the pleasure of being invited to The Mule with some friends before we head to the Canterbury voices concert. We had a party of eight, and even though they were pretty busy, we still had solid service. I ordered the big ass grilled cheese with turkey and avocado plus tomato soup. Everything was delicious, I couldn't have asked for more. This was my second visit and I can't wait to come back and try something new on the menu. My group had beers and cocktails, and everyone seemed pleased. I stuck with a sweet tea, and it hit the spot. Great place to grab a bite before an event or just to hang with friends.

Came here to have lunch. I had the angry cowboy and it was delicious. I paid for the lunch special which includes a half sandwich, a small side and a drink. This was an affordable option. My friend ordered the Cortez and she seemed to enjoy it very much. My sandwich was delicious and while I was full, I was hungry again after a couple of hours. lol The restaurant has a bar and can accommodate some larger parties but those larger parties will take up most of the space. The restaurant was clean. Our waitress was great. I will definitely not wait 18 months to return next time.

Amazing service. We loved the patio seating. The cheese curds were my favorite appetizer. The spinach salad was so good, we substituted the goat cheese for the blue cheese. The bacon, egg sandwich was the best and the pork macaroni a close second. Very reasonable prices.

The menu board had plenty of options that caught my eye, but I knew the mission when I walked through the door -- BURGER! I ordered the Oklahoma Smashie, a double smash burger with two beef patties, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles and Goose Sauce. This was a very tasty burger! The patties had those crispy edges you want from a smash burger, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the pickles and sauce pulled everything together. For my side, I went with the cucumber salad. I really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately it was the slight disappointment of the meal. It wasn't bad, it just didn't hit the same level as that burger. The Goose describes itself as a dive bar and sandwich shop, but I actually found the place pretty interesting. It has that comfortable neighborhood-joint feel -- nothing fancy, just a cool place to sit down, grab some food and enjoy lunch with a friend. Service was also excellent. The person working the counter was friendly, answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions without rushing us. Overall: 4 's from me. The Oklahoma Smashie definitely delivered, and looking at everything else on that menu, I've already got a few reasons to come back. This one is absolutely getting a return visit!

I ordered the salted caramel iced coffee, and it was fantastic . It's served with a sealed plastic lid and pointy straw so you get to start drinking it like you would a boba tea. I also got a Black Forest cake to go, and it was okay. It had good textures and was very light and airy. I was expecting something richer, so it missed the mark a bit for me personally. *Important things to know before going* A lot of the pastries are Asian inspired, so they have a very light and airy texture with a sweet yet understated taste. It still tastes great, but don't expect a super rich or dense cake. If you're looking for a cafe to work out of, this isn't the place for you. There's no stated rule against it, but it felt clear the bakery didn't want me working there, lol. No WiFi available and there aren't really any plugs at all for laptops. Items can sell out before the end of the day, especially during rushes. Get there earlier in the day for more options.

They also wouldn't heat up the savory bun, which was disappointing. It would've been much better warm, but the cashier said no and clearly didn't care. Service was speedy, but our cashier was unfriendly. The coffee was overpriced and too sweet, and it needed stirring--but you can't stir it with the boba lid. On top of that, we had to order coffee separately and pay twice, which felt inconvenient. Even after ordering at the kiosk, our hot coffee somehow came out iced... oops. (Yes, it clearly says iced on the receipt - so obviously we missed something.) We also had to clean our own table, even though it wasn't busy. There seems to be a lot of variety at first glance, but if you look closely, it's mostly the same bread--lots of red bean. On the plus side, there's lots of natural light and plenty of seating (at least when it's not busy). Overall, a bit disappointed. The prices lured us in, but this won't be a routine stop for us. It doesn't hold a candle to Tous Les Jours.

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?
