So happy to have had this company recommended to me when one of my other dog sitters canceled unexpectedly. The owner (Autumn) and her available dog sitter for my dates (Danielle) came over to my house for a meet and greet with my Cocker Spaniel and me, and they were warm, attentive, and gracious. We recently visited Sante Fe and the condos we stayed in did not let us have our dog with us. I got in touch with The Mutt Mavins and Chase (one of their dog sitters) had that week available to take our black Lab, Rocksy, under his care. Chase was AWESOME! He took excellent care of Rocksy, played ball daily, took her on hikes and even to the Mutt Mavin Party they had. He sent us pics and updates daily and when we picked up Rocksy, she was not all stressed out like she is when we leave her in a kennel. I've learned I'd rather hire a professional pet sitter than ask friends or family and Mutt Mavens makes that an easy choice. I have worked in the animal care industry for about ten years, so I am very particular about finding care for my animals! Mutt Mavens connected us with a sitter that was able to maintain our dogs schedule and sent us updates. The updates were detailed and showed us that our sitter was paying attention to our dog's body language and she was also giving him choice when appropriate (ie, how long he wanted to walk, what kind of chews he wanted, where he wanted to sleep, etc.) I feel so confident in Mutt Mavens I'm actually looking forward to leaving town again because I know my dog will be well taken care of! read more

Autumn and Chase are so marvelous to work with. I had the best experience and I was very concerned leaving my little critter in somebody else's hands. but they really know their dogs, and having Chase do it overnight. It's like having the nicest guest stay. Felix got totally spoiled, ample walks and lots of cuddling, and he was just totally normal when we got back, no worries, necessary. I love working with them, they are caring, punctual, trustworthy, simply delightful, and I'm so excited that we can now treat ourselves to a little outing, even when we can't bring the dog. just now New Autumn and Chase were amazing. We are very apprehensive to leave our pets since our sweet dog passed away when we were away, so trusting someone is huge for us but they did amazing. They were communicative, loving, and made us feel confident our pups, cats and home were safe and well taken care of. We will certainly be booking with them again. Our two dogs are quite large and not the best trained, but they were able to not only manage them but build a bond very quickly! Daily siestas on the balcony, photos, and fun. I am a nervous dog mom and both myself and my puppy have trouble being away from one another! I had last minute international travel arise and couldn't bring my Daisy with me, so I found Autumn and her team to take care of her and I am so glad I did. Highly recommend!
