The teriyaki and rice with chicken is very good.
Lucille T.

While in Brussels for just the day, we went looking for a place to have a quick lunch and decided to drop into this restaurant. We were looking for something to share since we did not want leftovers. It was a wonderful choice! We were seated pretty fast, and the food was so delicious. We shared the teriyaki and rice with chicken, and it was very, very tasty. I started to really wish I had time to just have my own dish, but, alas, we had to get on a train in a few hours and head back to Paris. The service was also quite good and even the restroom was decently clean.

Lovely place with really good food and not too expensive. Good vegetarian options! Great location as well for exploring the center of Brussels.

We were out walking around Brussels one night and decided to try this spot. The food was very good and freshly prepared. I had the Thai basil fried rice with chicken. The portion was pretty large. Server was very good and he was patient when we asked questions. My husband tried some different beers out and I had wine. I'd recommend. Nothing super special about the interior but music was good - I'd say it's worth a visit.

Pad Suki

I was skeptical at first as this restaurant is in the heart of the tourist area, but was pleasantly surprised. My table got the Laksa Soup and Pad Suki and the Pad Suki was the favorite. It had great spice and flavor. The ambiance is pretty casual and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was also good with bilingual workers. While they do take your order from your table and bring your food out to you, you have to pay up front at the register. They are a good option for Asian food if you are in the touristy area!

Laksa with tofu (vegan)

Great spot with all sorts of different Asian noodle soups and extremely vegan-friendly -- not particularly authentic, but also not terribly far off. My wife & I stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday around 7pm, and the place was about half full. I got the Laksa with tofu (default vegan) and my wife got the Tom Yum noodle soup with tofu (default vegan) -- €14.50 each. Because we were famished, we also got a Thai Red Curry (Fried) Rice with tofu (€14.50; made vegan by omitting the egg). I was really happy with my laksa. While not exactly authentic, the broth was nicely spiced, rich and balanced, coming with tons of vegetables, plenty of fried tofu, and nicely cooked thin rice noodles. The taste I had of the tom yum noodle soup was also impressive -- tangy, deeply spiced/flavoured and satisfying. The fried rice was really delicious too: not too oily, nicely flavoured, and texturally interesting. All in all, a great spot for a (vegan) Asian noodle soup and more.

Context: I'm vegetarian yes. yes. yes. You're thinking, "I'm in Belgium should I be getting noodles", the answer is yes. Especially if it's cold outside- please allow yourself to experience the flavors from this place. I had tom yum soup, it was a little on the spicier side but if you can handle your heat I suggest it. Then returned to this place again and got pad see ew 1000/10. Great beginner dish, great for anyone, so flavorful... get it. I wish I had more time to try everything on the menu honestly. (Plus staff is very nice ) Enjoy

Cannot lie that this is some of the best pho we've ever had in our life. Just all the dishes have so much flavor and are so different. We literally ate here 3 times while staying in Brussels. Also they're open later than other places in the area so that's a bonus when coming back from doing touristy things. Server is friendly and pleasant but could be more attentive. Wish we had one of these by us!

Thai basil fried rice

Great spot. Food isn't really that authentic but flavor and spice is good if you're looking to switch it up. Ordered the spicy Thai basil fried rice with chicken and red curry noodles with shrimp and both were good. The rice had a pretty decent kick to it.

The best Asian cuisine I ever had and I live in California. I never thought I would find the best Asian food in the world in Brussels, Belgium. My husband and I went there twice in the same day because it was soo delicious . I love the fact the kitchen is in the front of the restaurant. They're very clean, friendly and efficient. We will be back

This was pretty darn yummy to be in the midst of beer, chocolate and waffles! Let me start this review by saying please don't dare look for "The Noodle Bar" on google maps as it will have you looking crazy in below freezing weather like bae and I. If you are utilizing google maps, make sure you type in "The Noodle Bar Brussels" and you will get the correct location. Per the usual, when I travel, I go to Yelp to help find noshes and other things. You all have not failed me yet. After a long day of sightseeing, bae and I set out to find this place. It is nestled on a street right behind the Grand Place. It is a hole in the wall spot, but the food was great. We ordered Pork dumplings for dim sum, and Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Volcano dish. Bae did have to send his back to have them spice it up some more, but once they did, it was on point. My pad thai was very spicy! The food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. I am now very full and happy (and warm lol) We will be back.

Having my roots and family in Asia (whom I regularly visit), I had high hopes for this place…read more However, this hope was dashed (by quite a lot) when I read the menu and realized that other than the pork bun, all the other types of buns are stuffed with Korean, Japanese, Thai, or Western flavours. Given I was there already, my friends and I ordered the pork, chicken, beef, duck, and tofu buns; as sides we took the kimchi and spiral potato. The bun itself was puffy and soft, as it should be, but other than this, I was rather disappointed. Everything erred on the side of sweet and was a bit messy to eat. The kimchi was not spicy at all and the spiral potato was just one potato probably.... The only bun I thought was nice and had the perfect balance of flavours was actually the tofu one! Perhaps my Asian roots is making me more harsh than I need to be. My friends all thought the food was good and I certainly think the ingredients that went into the stuffing were fresh and nice. I remain unconvinced though, and for the price of 6euros per bun, I don't think it is worth the price-value ratio.

I've been there only once in 2017, but it was extremely good. Good flavours, varied choices,…read morerefreshing drinks and mochi. Would like to go back Update: just ate there today (5/02/2019), and it was nothing like two years ago! The flavours have changed, it's no longer refined at all. The ingredients are bland and it's really too expensive for what it is. For example, I had the tofu bao in 2017: I could taste five different flavours, it was delicious and just perfect. It had mushrooms and some sort of garlic-y mayonnaise. I tried the tofu bao today, and it was just some fried tofu with cheap and tasteless guacamole. I tried the apple gyozas for dessert: only 4 small raviolis sur 6€? Dough and applesauce should be that expensive... Very disappointing

Came here with my family while visiting my family in Brussels. They love this place. I had pho and fried rice. Pho is pretty good. Their broth has good flavor but a bit lighter for European palate. They do not have black sauce (Hoisin sauce) for pho. It is not unusual that Northern Vietnamese do not have Hoisin sauce with their pho. Once again, as their restaurant name indicated, their food is Northern Vietnamese style! Fried rice is pretty good with some twist of fried shallots and bean sprouts but I enjoyed it. Overall, it is good enough to satisfy my Vietnamese food craving!

Exceptional food and service!…read more I got spring rolls and bun bo hue, both with tofu. The bun bo hue was DELICIOUS - flavorful, not oily, right amount of spicy, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It was a nice surprise to have a good authentic Vietnamese meal in Brussels that is better than New York City. If I lived here, I'd be a regular. It appears to be a husband and wife owned business - hubby runs the front and wifey runs the kitchen.
