The main and Tapas menus have a good range of dishes but are on a slightly higher echelon than regular pub grub, which keeps with the whole atmosphere of the place. The highlight, other than the many event nights (Tusedays for movies), has to be the large garden with patio heaters and a long covered area with more heaters. Really good for the BBQ parties in the summer (if they ever come back). As well as all these features, the OWH also boasts a function room for private parties. Not to mention the decent range of ales, spirits and wines that are at fair prices too. I think one of the most appealing features of the pub is the family atmosphere, and there have always been a lot of activities for kids of a variety of ages that they are always improving/expanding. On my last visit a few months ago, there was a very large soft-play area with ball pits and a large outdoor climbing frame. The only negative thing that I could say about the pub is that it can get quite cramped on a Friday/Saturday night especially.
