I had SO MUCH FUN at the Oatman Jailbreak. I've been coming to Oatman every summer as long as I can remember with my family on our way to Lake Havasu. We've always stopped for lunch at the Olive Oatman and to say hello to all the cute wild burros, but other than those two activities there wasn't much else to do (besides walking through air conditioned stores selling biker shirts). We were so pumped to see an actual thing to do in town. The building its located in is visible at the start of town. If you haven't been to Oatman before, it truly is the ghost town that won't die. Walking around makes you feel like you are in the wild west during the 1800's. The Oatman Jailbreak fits right in with the town by having an authentic interior. It feels very real, like we were actually old bank robbers put in jail. Most escape rooms that I've been to have been located in strip mall parking lots and other random locations that don't fit the vibe of the room itself. The fact that this room fits in within the town makes the experience that much better. They have a costume rack that I HIGHLY recommend indulging in because you gotta look the part to get the whole experience. The puzzles are super fun and some require having at least two people. I'm impressed that the puzzles fit in with the theme so well (everything would actually make sense in the old west). The woman working was very sweet and informative. The intro had my family and I cracking up, because it really sets the tone for the fun ahead. We absolutely loved it and plan on doing it again the next time we're back. We made a last minute decision to stop in Oatman on our way back to CA from the Grand Canyon. My kids spotted the Escape Room as soon as we got out of the car. We were so happy we were able to book a time for after our lunch. My son is obsessed with escape rooms and has done 10-12 rooms in CA. We all loved the room!! The Wild West theme was perfect and the puzzles and games were just right for a mix of ages (our group ranged from 8-45 yo). read more

The Oatman Jailbreak is an absolute must do! My husband and I had never done an escape room before and we are SO glad that this was our first experience because we will definitely try to do more! The woman at the front was very friendly and knowledgeable and she only gave us clues when we were stumped. We loved the decorations in the room. I felt like I was in Disneyland's Frontier Land! It was a very high quality product. I won't spoil any of the puzzles, but boy were they fun! I would definitely recommend doing this, it was about $50 bucks for the two of us which was totally worth it for the hour worth of entertainment. My husband loved it just as much as me and it's an experience that we will never forget! read more

First generation room but was super fun. 40 minute game with some very clever touches. The game flowed very well and was highly entertaining . Game master/owner was very nice. A cute must-do ER experience that an enthusiast (and novices) would appreciate when visiting the little town of Oatman. read more

We had a great time! We've done lots of escape rooms and there were some very unique puzzles in this one. The guy that runs it couldn't have been any nicer. Our group of 4 had an absolute blast doing this escape room!! The puzzles were fun and innovative and kept us thoroughly entertained for the whole game. Dressing up in the costumes was fun! The gal running things was very friendly and did a great job making sure our group had a great time. We've already recommended that all of our local friends come here for a good time! We didn't break any records but the laughter, giggles and excitement was soooooo worth it! Thanks to Carol at the Jail break for her encouragement...it was truly a highlight of our trip.
