While visiting Castle Rock we stumbled across this place for lunch. It was quiet and had indoor seating so we decided to stop by to have lunch. We were immediately greeted upon entering and given menus and sat at a booth. Our server came over shortly after and greeted us and took our drink order. After that, she pretty much disappeared from existence. When we finally found her we tried waving her over to put our food order in to which she looked at us and continued to ignore us to watch the World Cup game. Terrible service. Good was lower average. I will say the nachos came out better than they did in previously posted pictures but nothing was spectacular. This is your typical run down sports bar where everything looks like your drunk friend made it at 3am. Everything tasted fine just nothing crazy. Unless you're wanting to watch a sports game, I'd skip this place. read more

Great local sport/dive bar with really good happy hour prices. Plenty of tvs for Ryan to come keep track of his Bet MGM bets. Kind of load but it's a sports bar so what do you expect. First the good things. This restaurant is a GREAT value. The food is very good. Delicious tacos, good service. I will come back here and try the Mahi sandwich because the Mahi tacos were outstanding. Now the bad things. NOISE caused by the TV. When we dine out we enjoy watching sports but do not need to hear sports and commercials. I will never come here with friends because no one needs to hear extra commentary. And every restaurant needs to cut the salt they use in half. read more

I always enjoy my visits and the takeaways I order from The Office. Located on the west side of Castle Rock, close to the hospital, the Office is always welcoming, with tasty food and drinks at reasonable prices. One of personal favorites is their buffalo chicken sandwich. I tend to steer clear of too many carbs... but do make an exception when I visit The Office. I will say their fries can be hit or miss, and their onion rings are not crispy enough for me. Parking is on the street and is generally easy to find - but there is a lot of growth going on in this part of town... so parking may become an issue in the near future. read more

Very confusing entrance, considering the construction around it. We entered through the wrong door, but everyone was nice enough to let us pick a table, even though that's not what you're supposed to do! We were here around the time of the start of the avalanche game and it got very busy even though it was the middle of the week. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food is a B+ at least. My wife said they have "the best onion rings" she's ever had.... Ever. Tons of beer/drinks options with a great happy hour. Of all of their locations, The Office is still my favorite. That might change since the city's changed the old parking lot to an apartment complex. BOOOOOO! It's a simple bar with a great choice of whiskeys and cool staff. It's a good place to watch sporting events and have a nice bite to eat. Our work group have come here for lunch two days in a row, because it's just that good! Shortly after 11:00am lunch break and 8 of us came in. We were seated promptly, with drinks and orders flowing in lightning speed! Clean, nice open seating. Not loud at all. Staff is super friendly and efficient! We were able to split checks up, no problem. My first day was the Reuben on marbled-rye. I have to say, they had our food out quickly and that was an awesome Reuben sandwich! Day two was the steak and cheese sandwich with fries. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but I can't stop thinking about the Reuben! The likelihood of talking my co-workers into the same spot a third day in a row is unlikely, because we are visiting Castle Rock, but I'm coming back at some point for the sandwich again. There are limited dining options in Castle Rock outside of typical fast food/chain restaurants and even less options open past 8 pm. I appreciate that the Office is open until 10 pm Sunday-Wednesday and midnight Thursday- Saturday and the many options available on the menu. The kid's menu is hilarious LOL. We ordered online through their website which redirected us to another site. We were able to pay in person and pick up our order with no issues, save the lack of hostess perhaps. I ordered the mixed green feta salad- mixed greens, candied pecans, apples, feta cheese, and red onions with balsamic vinaigrette- and opted to add steak for an additional $5. The website did not ask how I wanted the steak cooked which should have been my first red flag. Instead of steak slices as one expects, I was served a separate container of carne asada akin beef- which would be fine if that was what they advertised. Had I known that I would have ordered the chicken for $4. False advertising aside, the lettuce was crisp and fresh, as were the apples, and the container of dressing was enough for my entire salad. Feta in salad is always a win so I'd order this salad again- just not with "steak." The seasonal chicken Parmesan sandwich was generous in portion and reasonably priced ($10.99). The chicken was not dry and it was slathered in Mariana and cheese. The sweet potato fries were standard sweet potato fries, a bit soggy, but probably from sitting before we picked them up. read more

Stopped in for a drink at the bar on a Friday night while we waited for our table at another nearby restaurant. We've lived here for more than a year and passed by more times than I can count, so I'm not sure why we haven't been in before. First, I'll say it's larger inside than I expected. Also, they were certainly busy for early on a Friday night. Bar service was fine, and it turned out to be happy hour, so our wine was only $5/glass. Hard to beat that. It looks like typical bar food...sandwiches, burgers, etc. That said, it's a large menu, so lots of choices for everyone. I did see some of the food that came out, and it looked good, so maybe we'll stop in for a meal at some point, especially if there's a game on we want to watch while we eat. read more

Great staple sports bar in downtown CR - we take work groups here often. Yes it can be loud, but it's a sports bar with many TVs and music on. If you're looking for quiet ambiance, might not be your vibe. Food is consistently solid for standard American fare, but usually get similar things (sandwiches, burgers and pasta are great) - food tends to be a bit better later in the week we've noticed. And happy hour prices on drinks until 7pm most days.... The biggest reason we come back is the service- the core staff are warm, friendly and efficient. Was feeling tired so didn't want to cook. He suggested this sports bar so we headed down. No parking in lot next to restaurant so we drove around. Came across a car leaving in the street parking spaces across the road so we lucked out. Seated right away even though they were busy but in a corner booth by the kitchen which kinda sucked. But the server Karyn T was friendly and cheerful. For some reason they brought out appetizers out with our meal which wasn't great. We had the bang bang shrimp, half a dozen oysters and the chicken Parmesan sandwich. He was starving and wanted the appetizers first. The busser also tried to take away my oysters because she thought I was done when there clearly was still food on the plate. It was so rushed, the whole experience. I get it was busy that night but we didn't linger. We just wanted to eat without being bothered. The food was meh. Not overly impressed with the bang bang shrimp - too much sauce. His sandwich was palatable. Oysters were good but not great. If we needed a meal I might come back here but I wouldn't come back because it was a fabulous experience. I ordered online the end of the night while they were still open on door dash, they made me wait 30 mins before stating they cancelled my order. kids shouldn't be running a place if they can't turn off the tickets coming through and not fulfilling the ones that do come through. My husband and I WENT FOR IT and ordered a bunch of stuff to try... Below is what we got and how we felt about each item: - Mixed Green Salad with Avocado + Egg: Super super boring. Not worth it at all but I wanted the salmon.... ---- Added Salmon: awful. It came all mashed up like dog food. Totally over cooked. Gross blackened seasoning. Not good at all. - The Burger: My husband thought it was "okay" but nothing special. - The Potstickers: My husband wolfed these immediately. He really liked them. - Pecan Pie: Nothing to ride home about. Bland. - Bang Bang Shrimp: they were WET... Definitely nothing like Bone Fish Grill's Bang Bang Shrimp - Chicken Wings (8 + 3 for the kids meal) EXTRA CRISPY: pretty dang tasty but I asked for totally naked and I have a suspicion that there was some sort of coating on these. Regardless they were good but my stomach hurt after eating them. After reading our thoughts on what we ordered, it's safe to say... We moved here from FL in 2017 and this was our 2nd home. They have the NFL ticket and we absolutely love their wings. This is a sports bar. No frills, no lavender martini drinks. This is a sports bar with lots of TVs, whiskey flights, beer, and happy hour specials until 7pm, with some general bar food. Probably pass on the food, but a whiskey flight is a must. Understand your expectations and this becomes a wonderful neighborhood hang-out to watch a game. And my customer service was top-notched. The bartenders were extremely friendly and the ignorant comment about how one of the bus boys and servers didn't speak any English is ridiculous. Maybe you can try to learn another language too or at least learn some proper manners in English. read more

Honestly the staff is fantastic! However they really need to invest in an actual cook. Their "bang bang shrimp" is literally frozen breaded shrimp with some random sauce on top lol. We just bought a house in Castle Rock and needed to grab a bite while moving so we tried The Office. I was pleasantly surprised the food was pretty good, service was great. Deafening loud! Needs sound buffers installed. Could not hear each other at all. Nice new trendy space. Came for booze, appetizers and fellowship. Bar drinks were dinky for $8.00. Appetizers we tried Onion Rings - good, BBQ Chicken Wings - ok+, Pretzel and sausage - ok, Potato Chips - not bad and Shrimp something - not served with enough chips. Coke products. Love this place. I've been there for lunch and dinner. It's a bit loud - conversation seems challenging. They have a great bar with some off the beaten path bourbons. Happy hour is great and I highly recommend the oysters. Best I've had since leaving LA. I'll stop here anytime, especially after having to visit the lovely county courthouse next door. read more
