Di Napoli Pizzeria is the only independent pizza restaurant for absolutely miles. It is also the only one with a proper forno a legna (wood fired oven) and it's a beaut too. The pizzaiolo is also from Palermo, so the credentials are definitely there. To put it in context, the nearest authentic Neapolitan pizza joints are as far away as East Finchley and Palmers Green - at least 20 minutes in the car and no option of delivery. If it wasn't for Di Napoli, the pizza selection in the Potters Bar (and the surrounding area) would be limited to the obvious chains serving up cheese topped loaves of bread to varying degrees of quality. Though I have been informed that Su Nuraghe has also started to dabble in pizza delivery, while Osteria Dante also does pizza as part of its menu. So, how do I rate Di Napoli? If I think local, it's by far the best pizza you can buy - by a mile. If you want something other than pizza - which comes in 13-inch or gigantic 16-inch sizes) they also do a range of starters / salads, pasta and desserts. While there are a couple of tables, first and foremost this is a delivery or collection restaurant. That is where Di Napoli is different to both Su Nuraghe and Osteria Dante which are more general Italian restaurants. Yes, there are better Neapolitan pizza restaurants in London but they are a long way away - and fundamentally not local. If I'm critical, the dough isn't as light as the very very best Neapolitan pizzas. In fact, rather than Neapolitan, it's much closer to the type of pizza I regularly get in Sicily - slightly thicker and denser in texture. I'm so grateful that this place exists and in my mind, it is a fantastic and much-needed addition to the restaurant selection in the local area. Pricing is also very reasonable and I know where I will ALWAYS spend my money on pizza when given the option of Di Napoli or the chains. If you are local to this area, you should do the same too.

Now, I've had my fair share of kebabs over the years, but I have to admit the 'Cuffley Spesh' was one of the best I've had. For the uninitiated, the 'Cuffley Spesh' consists of doner meat, chicken skewers, lamb shish, rice, pitta bread and side salad (for the health conscious). The doner meat was tasty, juicy, not overly greasy. The chicken was tender and full of flavour. Lamb shish nicely seasoned and melted in the mouth. As for the rice, well they obviously have a magical rice cooker because it was fluffy, and not stuck together like you can expect in most restaurants. Pitta bread, fresh. Although, if I were to offer any feedback, maybe cut the pitta bread in a different angle as it wasn't easy filling it with doner meat and salad. Additionally, the meat still tasted great 3/4 fours later into the evening. Still juicy when cold and a distinctive lack of congealed grease. On another note, the customer service was great. Friendly and polite. The evenings events consisted of 6 heavily weighted guys, and three 'Cuffley Spesh' were adequate. I scoffed at a friend when he suggested only getting three. Personally, I wanted one each. I probably could have handled one on my own, I'm a big of a badass when it comes to filling my mouth with juicy meats, but sharing one was definitely okay as well. Look forward to my next outing to Cuffley Pizza & Kebab. I'll be pre-ordering my... 3 x Cuffley Spesh 3 x Buckets Chicken 3 x Pizza

The pizzas are also really nice and there are loads of toppings to choose from. They even sometimes have a great deal of 2 for 1 pizzas, so worth asking if you go. Despite this the staff could sometimes be just a tad bit friendlier, but this is just a minor judgement.

It has a great upbeat atmosphere, with great staff, staff that are so sure of themselves that on every visit, a waiter has tried to seduce someone on my table. It is a typical Italian restaurant, with plenty of space and a decent menu. I love my seafood and for a starter I have always had the seafood salad, not because I am trying to keep to a regime, but simply because it is delicious. On my most recent visit earlier this year, I had the speciality, which is Mamma's Meatballs and pasta, and I highly recommend it. The tiramisu is great too. I actually just got an invite for a friends birthday there for next weekend, and that is hat reminded me to tell you about Fantozzi. I might try a different mains, but know I will be having that seafood salad and tiramisu. Just to add, if you o plan on going to Fantozzi, an it is over the weekend, you better book, otherwise you will definitely have a real long wait. It is a very popular restaurant, and deservedly so.

You walk into this loud and chatty room full of people laughing, drinking and eating wholesomely. It's a wide space but nonetheless, rather crowded and always full on weekends. The food, I have to say is a good menu. The taste is also good. I couldn't say brilliant but for the very decent price, it's not bad at all. The pizzas are yummy and have a good variety as well as the pasta dishes. The main courses include veal escalopes which in my opinion is rather tasty. Moving onto the service.. Very Italian. Quick, chatty and all have Italian accents. They're very rush rush but is understandable due to the busy service. All in all, a great restaurant to bring friends for a fun chat on both weekdays or weekends. Expect loudness.
