The hotel is close to the city center. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was wonderful. I even brought leftovers back and the stored it and microwaved it the next day. I highly recommend this place :)

What a fun place! Hotels in Limerick seem to book fast; this townhouse was the only remaining property with room enough to accommodate my family of four on our summer holiday. Thankfully, it fit the bill for a one-night stay. I liked the design of our guest room. Four twin beds afforded each of us plenty of space to stretch out for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was a bit small but functional. I had no complaints. Finally, I found the breakfast offerings to be excellent. I enjoyed eggs Benedict while others in my family tried a traditional Irish breakfast. The townhouse is situated directly over a restaurant that often features live music at night. Despite the warnings I read online, no excessive noise from the street below interrupted my sleep. (Though the sea gulls outside my window proved to be quite loud the next morning.) The only difficulty I encountered was the parking situation surrounding the hotel. The only option for overnight parking nearby was an extremely narrow garage. It isn't ideal for those driving larger vehicles. (Maybe next time I'll take a bus!) Regardless, I would happily stay here if I ever found myself in the vibrant city of Limerick again. read more

typical hotel - good price and location. they had good bathrooms and showers. the beds were fine. the only ick I had was about the carpeted hotel rooms which I personally don't like. with than that the staff was kind and easy to check in. would stay here again read more

That bold disclaimer on the bottom of your check in sheet? The one that says the location is in the middle of bars and it will be noisy? Turns out that wasn't exaggeration. And noise doesn't describe it. More like "where are the riots going on"? And that was a week night. If you don't need sleep, this is the place for you. read more

SUPER loud at night! Their pub is attached to the building and there was music, screaming and drunk people every single night from 7pm-2am. The room is extremely hot as well. read more

We were pleased when we first arrived, however this place is not worth the money. We were on the third floor and it was extremely hot in the halls and the room. The windows only open just a few inches so we couldn't get a breeze or cool it down at all. On top of that, the bar across the street was blaring music like "footloose." The room itself was ok, but the bathroom was in disrepair. 8 euro per person for breakfast. read more

Stayed here during the October bank holiday weekend as we attended a graduation in the Strand hotel and wanted to stay somewhere a little cheaper. When we first entered the hotel the receptionist was lovely! She explained everything clearly and did give a warning that it could get very noisy as the rooms are above a bar but we didnt mind as we werent going to be back until late. We also didnt have to pay anything for parking as we arrived Saturday evening and parking was free everywhere on Sundays - so that was a nice bonus! The rooms were spotless and not too crammed seeming as we were in the city centre. Breakfast was included and it was what we needed after a late night out. All the staff here were great and seemed hard working! It was a great stay if you are thinking of heading down to Limerick with some friends for a weekend to head out as it is so central. The only issue I had was the shower... they are old and narrow and if you have the hair already done and want to go for a shower without ruining your hair there is no chance! read more
