It does have tons of seating, but I do miss the days where they had cozy booths. Now it's just tables. This place has a private parking lot that it doesn't share with other businesses. Our server, Kevin was great. He Told us his recommendations and asked if we had any questions about the menu, what was popular and etc. Even asked if we wanted to put some drink orders in. I think the menu is great. They have a great selection, they have great cocktails and don't get me started on their salad and breadsticks (blows Olive Garden out of the water, obviously) And the prices were amazing Kevin was extremely attentive and we ordered immediately. He was also great at refilling our breadsticks, salad and water My dad ordered the fettuccine Alfredo 5/5 stars And I ordered the tortellini with vodka sauce 5/5 The portions are HUGE, which is always a plus for me. All the pasta sauce here tastes so fresh and homemade Our food actually came out in less than 10 minutes. We weren't even finished with our first round of salad and breadsticks. Which, in my book, the faster the better. For our drinks, which came out VERY fast as well. My dad had the - peach sangria And I had the - strawberry sangria They also have a good happy hour. So we will have to come back for that. They even have a bar. When we walked past the bar area they had a couple games on the TV The ambiance was actually pretty cozy. I love the color scheme, I love seeing all the racks of wine and everything was extremely clean. I also like how even though the place is pretty big it gives off an intimate vibe. They charge a 3% surcharge to use a debit or credit card. So we unfortunately spend less because we don't always have enough cash on hand. As you enter and head towards the host stand to the left, you see this incredibly beautiful bar. The seating is very comfortable and not too close together. And you can catch a game here. But we came here for a good meal and we were not disappointed. This was my 3rd time here and it's always a joy. Our food was delivered promptly and our service was accurate and pleasant. I picked up my good friend from the airport on a monday, and we stopped at Olive Tree for drinks. Happy hour runs until 7pm which worked great since her flight was delayed and we arrived around 6:15 pm. We found seats at the bar right away which was nice. The bar is big and the place has a friendly family vibe. The whole restaurant has been remodeled and it looks great. The food was just as good as I remembered from before the pandemic. I hadn't been here in several years and was delighted to see they are somewhat newly renovated with a HUGE BEAUTIFUL bar with tons of TVs throughout to watch the games. It was super clean inside and they had an awesome happy hour my friends and I enjoyed. This is an Italian place but I loved their chicken quesadilla and honey old bay wings best. They also make good crushes and margaritas and are very spacious inside so they would be good for a group gathering or family night out. Asked for hot sauce,for the tacos, again he forgot. We had to ask another waiter to get Our Waiter, so we could pay our check, horrible service, and we all always tip 20% or more, first time I ever left a 10%. I have pretty high standards for Italian food, and given the strong reviews on here, I was disappointed. Been going to this place forever. Typically I would give it three and a half to four stars. Took Mom and stepdad there for Mother's Day. Walked in and sat down waited about 10 minutes actually had to go to the bar and get water for us. Server finally brought us some bread thought the salad was coming right behind I thought wrong. He finally came over to get the drink order everything worked out okay with that. When he brought the drinks over I grabbed him real quick so we could order so I wouldn't lose him again. Another server came over and brought the appetizers out and I said that I still had not gotten my salad and she said she would get my server for me. That never happened. Eventually the food came out and I asked the same server if she would find our server so I could get a salad still not there, never happened. Finally our server came over to ask how everything was and we said okay but we still haven't received our salad, finally brought it out to us after that. I usually don't get Italian there I usually get Seafood but I wanted to do something different so I got the stuffed shells, there was hardly enough sauce on the plate to even cover one shell let alone four. My step dad got the muscles and the muscles are always awesome there and they were this time also but once again there was hardly any butter garlic sauce to slop up the bread that they give you, and unfortunately about five of the muscles were not opened so they could not be eaten. It was Mother's Day and they were crowded and unfortunately there was only one actual server working the whole bar section and another section. What a little gem! I arrived with a group as soon as they opened at 11am (Saturday). I opted for the brunch chicken and waffles while others in my group had waffles, tater tots, omelettes etc. I loved the chicken and waffles. The waffle was good and it didn't taste like the store bought frozen waffles alot of restaurants use. The chicken portion was huge and it also came with a side of bacon. I ate and half and took the rest to go. For $18, it was one of the best chicken and waffles entrees I have had. Note that they offer bottomless mimosas for $15 with any brunch dish. It's safe to say, I've probably have been going to this place for close to 30 years ! It's also safe to say the service and quality have been disappointing the past few years. The past couple years, I used to frequent to get a salad and breadsticks and I would have to constantly complain ( which I hate doing, and never had to before ) about the extremely small proportions that I would regularly get. It never used to be like that, that's why I barely go anymore. Today, for my birthday, I ordered the $37.00 crab cake plater with fries and the salad and breadsticks. Our family dropped in for lunch earlier this week as we were in the area running errands. It's been a few years since I have been back to this restaurant and it looks like they renovated. I always imagined this place to be similar to the Oli.... Garden however it's giving higher scale given the price on the menu! I wasn't really expecting to pay $20+ per person which included my daughter. Both my husband and I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which cost $18.99 each. My daughter got a kids chicken tender along with a chocolate shake. Big mistake but she really wanted one. FYI- the milk shake is like the chocolate flavoring, milk(?) with crushed ice. We decided to pop in here to dine Saturday night on 2.18.23. The wait was less than 10 minutes for an available table. We were then escorted towards the back area. The restaurant seemed very nice and open and there are plenty of tables available for large gatherings for celebrations like a birthday, which we noticed not far from us. Our server was very attentive and informed us he would be with us. We glanced over the menu. Hubby ordered us a pitcher of the tropical sangria. Our order consisted of calamari, I had the chicken floretine, and hubby had the southern platter. The food was okay, I was not that thrilled with the tomatoes in my dish. The tomatoes tasted watered down and not roasted, which threw off the taste of the dish. It took the natural flavor of the cheese and sauce of the dish away. If I could add salt, I would. I took off 2 stars for the restroom. When I entered, I immediately walked out after looking at a few stalls that were dirty, covered in urine and toilet paper. The chicken wasn't anything to write home about and there was a couple pieces of gristle. The meal came with breadsticks that needed more garlic in my opinion and a salad that was tasty. I would prefer the dressing on the side next time as here was too much for my liking. Plenty of beer and drink options. The service was quick and friendly. After living and working in the area for five years, I finally made it to The Olive Tree. I was happy with the whole experience. I drank water while my husband had a couple draft beers. No complaints there but to be fair, he never complains about beer! We started with two appetizers: margarita flatbread and the meatballs. I really enjoyed the meatballs and they were kind of filling! My husband enjoyed the flatbread and I stole a piece too. The tomatoes may have been a little under ripe and it could have used some more basil, but nothing too crazy. I ordered the Chicken Piccata with linguine while my husband ordered the seafood linguini. The meals came with complimentary salad and breadsticks. I really enjoyed both! I loved my chicken piccata. It was a pretty big portion and came with three chicken breasts. After the apps, salad and breadsticks, I ended up taking two pieces of chicken home. It was still yummy the next day. I'm 24 years old and presented a valid out-of-state ID to order a drink, but the restaurant refused to accept it. The manager took my ID for about 10 minutes, only to return and say they couldn't serve me. I've never had this issue at any other establishment. Updated review: I've eaten here a few times with family and friends since my last review. The service has definitely improved since my last visit. The prices are still a bit steep, especially for lunch, but everyone has raised their prices. They do have a menu specifically for items $15 and under, which helps if you're on a budget. We came to the Olive Tree for a post wedding lunch. The interior and exterior of the building were very clearly renovated and very nice and modern. One thing I found interesting is that we were just sat in the main dining room. I was a guest at the wedding, so I wasn't sure if it was mentioned under the reservation that this was a special party. For food, we started off with some appetizers. The spinach and artichoke dip was fantastic! There are a few vegetarian options for the appetizers but it is not clearly marked on the menu. The meat eaters ordered a crab pretzel and calamari, which everyone seemed to love! For the salad provided by the restaurant, I was IMPRESSED. When I say I think about this salad every single day, I'm not lying. I'm not sure if there's a secret recipe for the dressing, but I need it. I would say this was the highlight of my experience, and I tell people about this salad almost every day (haha, I sound insane). I don't normally care for salads and I couldn't stop eating it. My main entree was the Ravioli which was really good for the first few bites but then started to taste like the water it was cooked in - if you know what I mean. I believe everyone was happy with their entrees, and the service was fantastic. The server came around very often to refill drinks and fulfill all of our requests. Definitely props to him for handling a large special party well! In all honesty, I would come back here especially for the salad and probably try a different entree.
