The surgery is rather large and it is not easy to see the same GP in a row. They have a very good emergency system and you are always seen on the day if neccessary. The waiting area is ok plenty of magazines. The seats are comfortable but do find it a bit cold in there sometimes.

Although there is no longer an accident and emergancy available at the hospital, it is a very busy hospital. Personally, I have used it for pregnancy scans and other x-rays, blood tests, midwife appointments, and out of hours gp visits. Without these, I would have had to travel 25 minutes to the nearest larger hospital, and having the emergancy doctor close by is so important, as without it I would have been wasting valuable time of the paramedics had I needed to call an ambulance. The hospital also takes care of a lot of the elderly members of the community, and the younger, by having a bay clinic twice a week. It would be a real shame and loss to the community if the hospital were to close down.

On Monday they contacted me and at 3:10 in the afternoon I was sitting in a chair getting help. Joel cleaned up my tooth and did a temporary filling for me. All done very professionally and at a reasonable cost. I'm very happy with the service I received.
